Posted November 9, 2024Nov 9 Administrator Let's discuss all the other CFB games of the day in this thread, and we do NOT discuss the Oregon game here, as we will have a separate GameDay thread for our game. (I will delete posts about the Oregon game, as we need to keep the discussions separate) Do provide score updates when you can, as well as your thoughts of what you saw in all the other games. We have a rich line-up of other games today such as Michigan at Indiana, Georgia at Ole Miss, Alabama at LSU and more to discuss! Mr. FishDuck
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator Come on Clemson, we want you to win! Virginia Tech 7 Clemson 0 at halftime.
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator Well, I guess all of Day's defensive changes at tOSU worked! Buckeyes 45 Boilermakers 0 Purdue’s day could be summed up by its fourth and goal from the three-yard line when it missed a 21-yard field goal.
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator Ole Miss TD, 2 point fail, 22-10 over Georgia. A win by Ole Miss makes them 8-2 overall, Georgia would be 7-2. In conference, Georgia would be 5-2, Ole Miss would be 4-2.
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator Fun thought: what if SMU goes undefeated and becomes the ACC's CFP representative?
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator Michigan's D keeping them in the game, Indiana 17 Michigan 9, 12:30 left in 4th quarter.
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator Touchdown, Michigan, 2 point conversion fail. Indy 17 Mich 15. This is as close to adversity that Indiana has faced this season. Edited November 9, 2024Nov 9 by 30Duck
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator On that 3rd down pass by the Michigan QB we saw how important accuracy is.

November 9, 2024Nov 9 Moderator FG for Indy makes it 20-15, Michigan has 2:34 to go 80 yards for a touchdown.
November 10, 2024Nov 10 Moderator Since there is no Ducks thread I must say that Oregon’s defense is playing pretty bad.
November 10, 2024Nov 10 Today is the worst I have seen my Dawgs play on offense since the 2019 season. People far more of "insiders" than I say there is a major disconnect between Carson Beck and the OC this season. But that is only part of the problem. Georgia's OL got pushed around today with several guys nicked up and other playing out of position. Receivers keep dropping passes, and today, running backs developed a propensity to fumble, Simply stated, today they suffered a good old-fashioned butt-whuppin, And things get no easier. Next week now #7 and soon to be #5 or 6 Tennessee comes to town followed the next week by by Georgia Tech--and we all saw what they pulled off today. I am presently feeling the despair of a bad loss and it is hard, in light of today's performance, to say that Georgia wins both of these and manages to slip into the playoffs. I guess I'll just keep rooting and hope for the best. Go Dawgs!!
November 10, 2024Nov 10 Author Administrator Wow BYU pulls it out, 22-21 on a holding penalty that kept the drive alive on 4th down-wow. (Ir WAS holding) Mr. FishDuck
November 10, 2024Nov 10 That BYU Utah game was epic and is worth a watch! Holy war indeed, the Muss was roiling with a record crowd, BYU looked like they had no chance and came back in the 4th quarter. Since my kids went there I'm hoping for a playoff matchup along the way to fulfilling Uncle Phil's dream this year 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
November 10, 2024Nov 10 The BYU kicker is a stud. He took a few practice swings early in the drive, then spent the next 5-10 minutes joking and chatting it up with his teammates with a big happy smile on his face. He strolls in and nails a 44 yarder really clean and would have been good from over 60.
