Nevada Dawg No. 5 Share Posted November 18 Loved watching the last 5 minutes of SNF tonight. Herbert was in command on the game winning drive and it is obvious that he and rookie Ladd McConkey have formed a special bond. I was excited when the Chargers drafted Ladd with the second pick of the second round because I suspected that Herbert and Ladd would be great for each other. Harbaugh foresaw that too and actually preferred Ladd to several of the receivers drafted in the first round. And Ladd was stoked to go play with Herbert, probably the ideal situation he could have found himself. 30Duck Moderator No. 6 Share Posted November 18 Just like the Ducks won a game on Saturday they would have lost before; it looked like De ja vu for the Chargers on Sunday Night Football. Big halftime lead, this time 27-6 instead of 27-0, but this time the Chargers didn't fold up, they won! Fun story about McConkey from Collinsworth during the game, "What's your 40 time?" Mc Conkey. "I'm 4.3". It has 4.39 0n the chart. "Yeah, just say 4.3, nobody cares about the 9 part."
