Surprised that Ohio State didn't jump us? I am, as I am pretty cynical about it all...

Oregon:     No. 1

Ohio State: No. 2

Penn State: No. 4

Indiana:      No. 10

Illinois         No. 22

Boise State: No. 11

The Oregon Ducks remain at No. 1 in the most recent AP Poll after a hectic week in college football.

I think that Oregon now being the only undefeated team left, unanimous No.1 for a couple of weeks, and idle this week, wasn't going to get jumped by Ohio State, who lost to Oregon. The rematch is coming, keep everything the way it is for now.

Yeah 30Duck is right on point. Leave it be for now.

Unlike the SEC absolute poor sports who won't stop whining, tOSU whined about it for 2 weeks and have taken care of business ever sense.

They want revenge against  OBD's. And with a win over Michigan well thry will have earned that shot.

Too many teams in the SEC and BIG 12 have not taken care of business. Pay the price....

Bama is sitting at 13 with two losses to unranked teams. They’re just waiting to see who loses the ACC championship, so they can slide them into a playoff spot. However, even the committee can’t stop them from getting jumped by the Big 12 champion, so they’re going to need a couple of losses.

Bama’s best bet is for USC East to beat Clemson, Miami to beat SMU and UGA to lose. They would probably jump a 3 loss UGA team since they beat them in a head to head matchup.

Klatt kept college football’s only remaining undefeated team atop his personal Top 10 even with the Ducks idle in Week 13. It only seems right, especially given the head-to-head victory over Ohio State earlier this season.

But with the Ducks potentially facing a rematch with the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis, should Ohio State lock up a bid with a win in The Game on Saturday, all bets are off moving forward.

Still not tired of it!

Ready to take on the entitled ones again in Indianapolis. We’ll leave no doubt this time.

Yup... he's broken.

I remember joking about it this summer but it is appearing more and more likely.

If Oregon beats tOSU in the B1G Championship game, they will have to be placed on the same side of the bracket.

If they are on separate sides, and they meet in the final

Oregon will be 15-0 and 2-0 versus tOSU

tOSU will be 14-2 and 0-2 against Oregon

Even if tOSU wins the final the teams finish

Oregon 16-1 and 2-1 against tOSU

tOSU 16-2 and 1-2 against Oregon

I dont know how one in good faith can vote the team with two losses and 1-2 head to head over an opponent from the same conference that has a single loss and won 2-1 head to head.

I think the committee will want to avoid this controvery and they should.

In this situation, how do you argue Oregon below tOSU in good faith? I am sure people would then talk about it as an almost unforseeable outcome; but, it absolutely was forseeable, especially after Oregon and tOSU played and both teams looked good.

Oregon has had the longest run at No.1, and is the only unanimous No.1 this season, 3 weeks in a row now. No chaos in the AP Poll.
