David Marsh No. 2 Share Posted December 2 I think Oregon achieves more of a Penn State beat down than their prediction. Oregon is built to beat B1G teams and I think they'll beat another one this Saturday. Can't wait! Also, Oregon is looking the healthiest they have almost all season. The offensive line looked really solid against Washington and Iuli is still starting which means the change to the offensive line is working. Hopefully we get Harper back soon. 2
AllOregon No. 3 Share Posted December 2 (edited) Big Ten Sideline Sports Network account labels this as #2 vs #4. Hmm, someone call the marketing and communications departments. Edited December 2 by AllOregon

RickDuck No. 5 Share Posted December 2 My two favorite teams fighting it out! Conservative boring (3 up the middle and punt) Penn State against flashy exciting Oregon Ducks! I will have to just watch if the Nittany Lions D can slow down the Ducks O. Two great players to watch for the Lions: #11 on defense Abdul Carter (like Micah Parsons) and #44 Tyler Warren (who runs, catches and passes). Also Beau Pribula, the backup QB who runs most every time. I think if Dylan gets hot, that the Ducks will pull away. I'm also surprised that the line is only 3.5 ... seems like it should be 9 or so, but then the Ducks have to do the long travel to Indy. We should remember though, this game may mean nothing when all is said and done, since both teams are in the CFP. 2

Agreed both teams are 100% in the CFP, but the losers then have to play one extra game which is huge.

Jon Joseph Moderator No. 9 Share Posted December 2 As I responded to this article in another post: Dear Yardbarker, the winner of the B1G Champ Game goes to the Rose Bowl and does Not Also Play A 1st Round HOME GAME! This format is not the easiest to figure out but it isn't Rocket Surgery!
Solar No. 10 Share Posted December 3 On the coaching end of this matchup we have in one corner James Franklin who can't win a big game, and in the other corner Dan Lanning with a major recruiting distraction during the one week they have to prepare for team we didn't think we would have to play this year. Who will prevail?
