Had it been the BCS or Playoff era, the "half-championship" would have been taken away. But polls are not changed years later. What kind of low-life would continue to celebrate a championship where it was not alleged, but proven cheating? I will! I will! I will! If this were 1991, the 2024-25 Oregon Ducks football team would have already been crowned the unanimous National Champions. We are 13-0 and have already won the traditional Rose Bowl match-up in the B1G Conference Championship Game against Penn State (we also beat Ohio State, Michigan and Wisconsin this year for good measure). What Oregon (or any other team) has to do this year to win the National Championship is 1,000x harder than what Washington had to do to win their share of a national championship.
