December 30, 2024Dec 30 Moderator Who'd have thought. Booger McFarland, Finebaum's ESPN colleague had some good things to say about Oregon, how they had really not gotten the respect usually given to a unanimous No.1, then proceeded to pick osu2. But not Paul. F Go, Ducks!

December 30, 2024Dec 30 PAW-WAA-WAA L. Finebum... shall be his new moniker, should the vaunted S-E-Sheesh bow out of the CFP short of the final.
December 30, 2024Dec 30 Moderator Finebaum? Meh. Finebaum has relentlessly called for Day to be fired. This is 'keeping in his own lane,' right? Dan wears Finebaum Teflon due to his stints working for Saint Nick 😇 and He's So 🤓 Smart. Bury Brutus! Show Will There Is No Way! Chip Away and Win the Day! 🤩

I'm definitely not saying this out of preference. If Beck was still at QB, no doubts. But losing the starting QB has to account for something, and maybe it is recency bias, but Penn State just scares me now.

Especially if you heavily scrutinized their playoff game. We made them look much better on offense than they are in my opinion. I was extremely disappointed in their offense. They reverted right back to how they played Ohio State. I’m not impressed. I think they ransack Boise State, but they will have trouble scoring in the Semi Finals.
December 31, 2024Dec 31 Before I opened this thread I hoped that he was picking anOhio State, on account of him being a hack and all. Now I’m worried. Not really.

In fact, if Boise can play ball control with their run game, they could be in this one until the very end. However, I have not watched Boise very much this year and could be very wrong, but I am certainly not cowed by Penn State.

I was sure PSU would shut Jenty down, and keep Boise under ten points. They did get a cheap TD off of a blown coverage, but BSU's QB played much better than I expected. Again, Penn State under performed. They really can't throw the ball. Not enough to win the big games.
