Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted January 8 He has been a starter at USC, and played offensive guard. He is 6'6 and 297 pounds, and apparently--Oregon is a leader for him at the moment. He might be visiting SEC teams, so I thought I'd alert you to this possibility. If he came--we would finish the OL and be in good shape for next year. (We might be anyway...) Oregon's players transferring out are not proven starters, thus another reason to appreciate our coaching staff. I'm not sure about massive, given Riley's record of recruiting and developing in the trenches (which has always been poor). But that combination of size and experience can at least add to the 2-deep. Oregon's interior oline depth has felt dangerously shallow this past season. 1
AnotherOD No. 5 Share Posted January 8 (edited) Pregnon was second team All-B1G along with first teamers Donovan Jackson (tOSU) and Connor Colby (Iowa), both thought to be possible second round picks; and, Penn State's Olaivavega Ioane who (as a rSo) likely will be considered one of the conference's top returning IOL. Pretty good company. No sacks allowed in 2024 (though about one QB hurry per game). Apparently had mid-round NFL draft grades, so has decided to see if another season can move him up. Apparently was a standout against A&M in their bowl game (if the USC thing is a buzz kill he did start his career at Wyoming). GeotechDuck No. 6 Share Posted January 8 This guy was second team B1G and arguably USC’s best OL. I agree that USC has not done a great job developing guys in the trenches. If you are going to take an OL from USC, I think this is the guy you want. 1

He's the ONLY good offensive line player USC had this last year. He'd be a good get. 1
