Dave23 No. 6 Share Posted yesterday at 03:42 AM Oregon just stood around in the second half and didn't run any offense, really lucky to pull off the win.
30Duck Author Moderator No. 7 Share Posted yesterday at 03:48 AM Two late reviews go Iowa's way. Shelstad can't get the ball upcourt in time, then he steps out of bounds, turns the ball over. A loose ball goes right by Angel, does he dive for it? No. Speaking of lack of urgency, kind of perfect that Shelstad's 3 was ruled to have not been in time, he did make the crucial 1 & 1, ended up with 3 points. Great game for Bittle and a good one for Evans. 1

GeotechDuck No. 9 Share Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM Evans plays well again, but somehow his minutes are not increasing. Meanwhile Bamba shoots 36% from the floor again. Gross.
HDuck No. 10 Share Posted yesterday at 05:12 AM Man, both of those late calls that went to Iowa were close. Looked to me like the ball was clear of Shelstad's fingers for the 3 before time expired. The out of bounds ball didn't really have a conclusive camera angle between the two hands. Home court officiating means something. Lesson is you can't let the game be that close where a call could have decided the game. The inconsistency of individual players game to game has to be driving Altman nuts. Iowa last two seasons: 19-14, 14-12. Indiana may not be the only one with an opening - maybe. GeotechDuck No. 12 Share Posted yesterday at 07:07 AM (edited) Another poor defensive performance, allowing another conference bottom feeder to shoot 50% from the floor yet again. The defense is a complete mess and not typical of an Altman coached team. Let’s hope the shots are falling in March, because if they are not, this team is going to have a very early exit in the post season. Tandaian No. 13 Share Posted 22 hours ago I'm not a fan of the B1G TEN announcers being so biased against, UO, UW, USC and UCLA. They aren't even trying to hide it.

Of course, Robbie Hummell from last night, played at Michigan State, the only pro-Pac-12 in the bunch is Don MacLean, the former Bruin. Oh, do we miss Bill Walton! Watching, listening to him forgo "The Conference of Champions" for the B1G would have been incredible.
Charles Fischer Administrator No. 15 Share Posted 14 hours ago I would like to think that over the years--as they get used to us and enjoy the glory Oregon teams bring to the B1G, they will warm up to us? Mr. FishDuck

Hummell played at Purdue, but basically the same thing, these guys don't really know much about Pac-12 teams. I
