Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted 22 hours ago There are 28 sports that the B1G competes in, and thus far the championships have been completed in 17 of those sports. Teams from the former Pac-12 of Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA have won SEVEN of those 17 championships thus far, with Our Beloved Ducks winning four of them. With eleven more championships to go in the academic year...the west coast teams, especially UCLA, will prosper in the spring sports. Will the former Pac-12 teams end up winning more B1G titles, than any other set of four original B1G members? Either the West-Coast-Four are a new Pain-in-Their-Side, or "Adding Prestige to the B1G?" The only ranked B1G teams in Baseball are UCLA and Oregon... You're OUT, Bruin! 1 1 Mr. FishDuck

Charles Fischer Author Administrator No. 3 Share Posted 20 hours ago In the first poll for Outdoor T&F...USC is No. 2 for the Men in the nation, and for the Women the Trojans are No. 1, so I think they may win the B1G Championships as well... 1 Mr. FishDuck
Charles Fischer Author Administrator No. 4 Share Posted 19 hours ago In Softball, there four B1G teams ranked with Nebraska and Ohio State on the lower end of the top-25, while Oregon and UCLA are much higher. I have not checked, but I would bet that golf and tennis will probably be dominated by West Coast teams as well… 1 Mr. FishDuck
Nevada Dawg No. 5 Share Posted 12 hours ago So the ex-PAC-12 schools are outperforming the B1G ole guard but receiving only a fractional share of the conference payout. Yep., that's fair, lol.

Yep., that's fair, lol. It is all a matter of perspective. It is over twice the revenue we would have received at the old PAC 12, and there is going to be enormous upside. The bottom line, is that we add a lot to the conference, and they add a lot to us. Works for all! 1 1 Mr. FishDuck
HDuck No. 7 Share Posted 10 hours ago The fractional share applies only to media contract revenue, and only to UW and UO. It also has a calendar end date, with annual escalation until that date in 2030. The West Coast Four, all four, receive Full shares of NCAA Basketball Tournament shares, and College Football Playoff shares, as well as from some other more negligible sources. In addition, the conference allows expense allocations from the conference for certain activities. And, keep in mind the CFP payouts for each member of the SEC and B1G will go up by a sizable chunk in 2026 in comparison to the Big12, ACC, or Group of 6. The partial/fractional share issue is a misrepresentation when fans make the assumption it applies to all annual revenue from the B1G. It does not. Thanks to a public presentation by one member of the group, we can sketch the financial benefits accompanying the move. Washington... 1 1

Thanks again, H, for the clarity you provide with facts and not supposition. Yep, OBD receives, over six seasons, as is the norm for all conferences, its respective $ 2.33 M revenue share, which will be disbursed to all B1G member schools from this season's NCAA Basketball Tournament. OBD also receives a full share of the CFB revenue earned by the B1G. The B1G came in second behind the SEC in 2025 CBB revenue but first in CFB revenue. Postseason equal revenue shares for all conference members are no longer the case in the ACC and I expect the B1G and the SEC will follow suit, probably in 2030 for the B1G when a new media deal begins. Jon Joseph Moderator No. 11 Share Posted 55 minutes ago Tough outing for the UCLA Women last night but the Bruins and the Trojans elevated the play in the B1G as did the OBD Women's team that went to the dance. This was UCLA coach Cori Close's first trip to the UConn Geno Auriemma Invitational otherwise referred to as the Women's Final 4. 14 years for Cori at UCLA, a Biblical 40 years for Geno at UConn. The Bruins handily defeated South Carolina during the regular season and USC(E) has a very good shot vs. UConn in tomorrow's champ game.

HDuck No. 13 Share Posted 1 minute ago “We didn’t show up and do our jobs,” Close remarked at the postgame press conference. It was raw and honest. “Credit to UConn. They were the aggressors. They played more purposefully.” Cory said, just looking down at the stat paper. “They played more connected. They were tougher than us tonight. They handed it to us.” “We got exposed. We got out-touched. We got our but-s beat today,” Close added. “And it stings right now. And may the pain of that regret and this loss … if handled well, buy us a ticket to be better the next time, hopefully we get this opportunity.” That game plan worked to perfection. Geno Auriemma, UConn’s legendary coach, unleashed a masterclass in exploiting UCLA’s reliance on Betts. The Huskies’ 2-3 zone defense swarmed her in the post, forcing her to chase the ball outside her comfort zone. Meanwhile, their transition game—fueled by Paige Bueckers’ 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals—kept Betts sprinting back, sapping her energy. In a sense, it reminded me of the first half of the Rose Bowl.
