Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted 12 hours ago Four Ducks Selected On Day Two Of NFL Draft EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson was selected in the second round of the NFL Draft on Friday while defensive end Jordan Burch, defensive tackle Jamaree Caldwell and quarterback Dillon Gabriel were all taken in the third round. Ferguson went to the Los Angeles Rams in the second round with the No. 46 overall pick, becoming the highest-drafted tight end out of Oregon since Russ Francis was the 16th overall pick in 1975. Burch was taken by the Arizona Cardinals with the No. 78 overall selection, and Caldwell followed shortly after to the Los Angeles Chargers with the 86th overall pick. Eight picks later, Gabriel was selected by the Cleveland Browns at No. 94 overall. Oregon has had six players picked through the first two days of the draft, after Derrick Harmon was the No. 21 overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers and Josh Conerly Jr. was the 29th selection by the Washington Commanders on Thursday. It is the first time in program history that Oregon has had more than four players selected through the first three rounds of the NFL Draft. After setting the program record with eight NFL Draft picks in 2024, Oregon is well on its way to rewriting history once again this weekend. The final four rounds of the NFL Draft will begin on Sunday at 9 a.m. PT.
