Oregon lands its QB in the 2026 class in four-star Bryson Beaver

Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta four-star quarterback Bryson Beaver tells On3 he has committed to Oregon.

Beaver chose the Ducks over opportunities from Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss. He is a former Boise State commit that reopened his process earlier this month

The Ducks checked all the boxes he was looking for in a school.

“The opportunity they have and the fit,” Beaver said. “I feel like me and Coach Stein clicked immediately as soon as we met each other. The fit and development aspect of that, they’re going to develop me into a really good quarterback and I’m excited to work with them.”

Oregon coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks land a commitment from four-star QB Bryson Beaver adding to a Top 10 recruiting class.

Leave it to Beaver to be our '26 stud!

Welcome aboard!

Sco' Ducks!

If he is half as good as Rich Brooks, he will be a great contributor.

However, I am still disappointed that OBD could not convince Storm Duck to enroll.

This is actually the QB profile that fits Oregon...assuming we continue to pursue exceptional portal QBs in the future. Stack up HS QBs with upside, and the best of them could turn into a starter two or three years down the road.

It is rumored that his rating will go up to a Rivals 4-Star from 3-Star due to his superb performance in the Elite-11 camp. Among the noted he was offered by: Boise State, OregonOle Miss, LSU and Alabama. (That bastard coach there does know QBs)

Not so Fast...

💯💪⚡️🏈Congrats to Bryson Beaver—officially committed to Boise State!, This young man has put in the work day in and day out. Discipline, leadership, and relentless drive—he’s earned every bit of this ...

"Beaver takes the snap, fakes the pitch and strolls into the endzone, touchdown Beaver, Ducks piling it on" Not confusing at all.

Today a Beaver.  Last week a verbal commit from a Washington.   And, the Ducks have offered a 2027 player named Troy.

And a Beaver Shall Lead Them. 🙃  Someone, please let CBS know that the Civil War will not be played every season.

There are only so many spots on the schedule for scrimmages against minor league teams.  😎

Bryson Beaver, a Class of 2026 prospect, could soon throw passes against the Beavers in a storied college football rivalry

Much as it pains me, I would guess Baylor gets canceled and replaced by Beavis

The 2027 schedule is brutal. Looking ahead, it will likely be in the most difficult top 10. Six home games will not help the cause. A road game at Baylor is piling on to Michigan in Ann Arbor, along with Nebraska and UW on the road, and Ohio State, Penn State, and Iowa in Autzen.

If Rob is going to cancel, in fairness to Baylor, it needs to happen soon so both schools can book another game. Replacing the game with a cash payment to Portland State for another home game would be fine with me.

An OBD win against a B12 team will not move the PO needle, but a loss will not go unnoticed. Oregon does not need P4 Baylor to goose the 2027 schedule.
