Davon Benjamin is a Rivals 4-Star, although most believe he will be elevated to 5-Star later in the season. He is considered by most to be the best cover corner in the nation, and is a HUGE recruit for Dan Lanning.

Benjamin was offered by Oregon, Michigan, Texas, Ohio State, Miami, Georgia, Notre Dame, Alabama, Penn State, USC, and among the others--Washington came in late and offered a big bag, but Benjamin remained a DUCK!

In team rankings, Oregon jumped to No. 3 currently, in the nation with the highest average per recruit!

See for yourself right here, and see how other B1G teams are doing...

It does my heart good to see B1G rivals Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State below us in the rankings.

Are they delighted to see Oregon do so well the Big-10?

I think it's one of their B1G-ist regrets if you ask me.

Definitely a great get!

It's a little hilarious to think a month or two back people thought Oregon was losing it on the recruit trail.

I'm laughing all the way to the playoffs!!

It is funny that many of the services list him as a corner, yet all the film shows him as a free safety?

Regardless, he’s very very good.

"and them not putting on a facade just because this is a recruiting trip. They’ve been who they’ve been from the day I met them, all the way throughout."

The secondary has boatloads of incoming talent! It's been a few years since we've had a true impact player in the secondary now it looks as if we might have several.

Great job by DL and the crew addressing a weak point in the defense.
