Wednesday at 07:15 PM4 days Author I legit knew this was gonna happen, I'm certain that Oregon will schedule the disgusting Beavers from Oregon State to replace these matchups.
Wednesday at 07:54 PM4 days Yep, to borrow from a cliche, handwriting on the wall.Charles, of course, will be "ecstatic" that the Ducks are paying Utah State an additional $325,000 in 2029 to cancel the 2027 and 2028 games. In effect, paying an extra $325K to play the Beavers. Right Charles? laughPersonally, as I've stated in this forum before, I don't have an objection to playing Beavis....but not so often. I would rather see home-and-home with former Pac12 members in West Recruiting Territory like UA or ASU, Cal or Stanford, Utah, instead of going to Corvallis. Corvallis games have no impact on in-state recruiting for Oregon, and is a missed opportunity to be playing in Salt Lake, Bay Area, or Phoenix.

Wednesday at 08:56 PM4 days Moderator FANTASTIC! This should result in Oregon playing 7 and not 6 home games in 2027, a season when OBD will have one of, if not the most difficult schedule, not only in the B1G but in the nation. This move is well worth the $324K which will be more than made up by another home game.At Baylor, Michigan, Nebraska, UCLA, and UW, with a long trip to play at Maryland. Ohio State, Penn State, and Iowa at home. And in season three, Barry Odom will bring an improved Purdue to Eugene. And OBD could possibly be breaking in a new starter at QB. Greg Sankey, hush your mouth. This also does away with a scheduled 2028 trip to Logan, Utah. There is no way OBD should be playing on the road against any G5/6 program, even if it's a 5 for 1 exchange.2027 opens with a visit from FCS E. Washington before traveling to Waco, Texas, to play the Baylor Bears. Week 3 in Autzen versus New Mexico, San Jose State, or Nevada would be just fine.
Wednesday at 10:23 PM4 days Agree we should never play a G6 on the road, but apparently Beavis is a special exception to this.
Thursday at 12:15 AM4 days "FANTASTIC! This should result in Oregon playing 7 and not 6 home games in 2027,.....This move is well worth the $324K"Huh? 2027 was 6 home games: E. Washington, Utah St, Iowa, Ohio State, Penn St, Purdue2027 was 6 away games: at Baylor, at Maryland, at Michigan, at Nebraska, at UCLA, at WashingtonDitching Utah St and replacing them with Beavis will still be 6, unless "at Baylor" was scrubbed.

It's not P4 school. If they want to play is it should be at Autzen. If it must be so, then don't go there more than once a decade. Certainly not home and homes.

Thursday at 08:53 PM3 days Author I wonder if we're gonna do more changes to our future schedules beyond this and the eventual addition of more Civil War games.

Mr. FishDuck
Friday at 12:03 AM3 days Moderator There are a few preseason polls that would have No. 10 Bama at No. 7 OREGON in the PO 1st round. One of the best ripostes ever to OBD fans 'We Want Bama!' was a Bama fan at a home game hoisting a sign that said, "We want Oregon's cheerleaders."😁

Saturday at 04:22 PM1 day Moderator Canzano 🤔writes this is clear the deck for continuing the Civil War. I hope not, but if so, it should be at the least a two in Autzen for one in Resar.
Saturday at 05:01 PM1 day We’re getting a home/home no matter how much most fans (imo)on both sides don’t want it.Clownzano
Saturday at 06:03 PM1 day Agree with earlier comments that we should never play home/home with non-P4 conferences going forward, the exception possibly being the feelthy rodents. I'm fine with that, I want the CW to continue (granted it'll never be the same), but it's still one of the oldest rivalries in the country and personally I never get tired of beating the Biebers.Scheduling home/home with old P12 opponents makes sense, less travel time for away games.
Saturday at 06:22 PM1 day I am not on board in the least. The only bright side I see is that it is not Boise or Fresno. oac is not Oregon’s problem. All future games should be at Autzen or no deal. Hell, call every other year a “neutral site” game hosted at Autzen and give the oac AD a 25% bump in ticket allotment. There are many possibilities I would think. The last option should be giving them a home game every other year. Let that dying dog suffer an agonizing death.
Saturday at 11:51 PM1 day Administrator Canzano reported that the benefits are both teams getting full stadiums, a short travel time, and for Beavis...a great TV game to sell every two years. Canzano admitted to putting the UO President on the spot asking..."after what Oregon did to Oregon State....what are you going to do to help?"Let's see....Beavis claims we did this for money...yes we did. Yet they retained the Pac-12 name to extract their half of the 300 million they are stealing from the departing ten former Pac-12 members, so they are doing that for money too, and did not consider doing the "right thing."Beavis claims that "Oregon broke up the conference," and then the Pig-2 proceed to destroy the Mountain West. You can't make this stuff up... Mr. FishDuck

14 hours ago14 hr Moderator My comment on Canzano's site: Michigan does not play at Central Michigan. Ohio State does not play at Bowling Green. Penn State does not play at Slippery Rock. Oregon should not play in Corvallis. Do not schedule Beavis. Never schedule Boise State. Without playoff automatic qualifiers, open every season in Autzen against Portland State and hand the in-state Vikings a check. In their championship seasons, Michigan and Ohio State played no P4 opponent out of conference. Penn State is following this model in 2025. Everyone is excited over Texas at Ohio State, Michigan at Oklahoma, Notre Dame at Miami, and LSU at Clemson, and I get this. But four of these ranked teams will have a loss after Week 1. The last time a 3-loss team made the BCS, 4-team, or 12-team playoff field as an at-large team was never. So, the losers had better be conference champions, not you, Notre Dame, or go 11-0 the rest of the way.3-loss Clemson was ranked No. 16 by the Committee in the final poll of 2024, but made the field because Miami choked against Syracuse, and Clemson held on to defeat SMU, and automatically qualified as the ACC champion. (BTW, since 1984, no team ranked lower than 15th in the final regular season poll has won a championship the following season.)Mega-Conference conference schedules vary greatly in strength of schedule. We'd all like to see more B1G against SEC nonconference games, and this is one of the reasons Tony Petitti wants an expanded playoff field with automatic qualifiers. Without AQs, tough out-of-conference games are not worth the playoff candle.
