"On November 1, 2023, the NCAA announced it was investigating several high-profile programs for potential violations of academic standards. details of the investigations were not released, but the NCAA stated it was taking the allegations seriously. Further investigations were launched on November 15, 2023, focusing on improper benefits received by athletes. The amounts and specific nature of these benefits were not released".
