A rare injury update from Dan Lanning . . . and a good one at that:

Need Davison and his power running and blocking.

Also did anyone else notice how little Whittington played against JMU?

I wondered if Whittington was dinged up or got dinged up, but he showed back up in the 3rd or 4th quarter. Happy that Davison will be there for the TT game.

Yes, I commented on the game-day thread.

I am hoping DL and WS are finally playing the best players. 🤞🏼

I’m not an expert, but DHJ and JD sure are the most fun to watch.

I’ve never been that excited about Whittington.

I'm thinking the game will come down to defense and who puts the most pressure on the qb.

This is great news. Not only for the run game but his pass blocking might make the difference against the TT pass rush.

I sure hope Whittington is good to go against TT, he’s been fantastic when healthy and yet strangely under appreciated by some fans.

His growth this second half of the seasons has been significant. He used to either make a bug play or get 2 while running into a pile of linemen. His vision has improved considerably in games.

I've been yelling at the TV for years as Whittington healthy or not has made both good and bad plays. But he is consistently getting good yardage now and that's because he's seeing the game better.
