Yesterday at 01:19 PM1 day Moderator No. The traditional February National Signing Day is here. After the Oregon Ducks signed 21 commitments in December, they are poised to add at least one more. Oregon provides a one-by-one look to meet the Ducks' 2026 recruiting class. The Oregon Ducks signed 21 commitments in December, along with former 2024 signee Gatlin Bair after a two-year mission. Since then, however, the Ducks have had one defection and one addition. Quarterback Bryson Beaver enrolled early after the December Signing Day, but entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. He has since committed to Georgia. The Ducks have not replaced him with another quarterback in the 2026 class.Meanwhile, the Ducks added a second running back in January. Fresno (Calif.) Central East High School was released of his signature with the Arizona Wildcats. He quickly committed to the Oregon Ducks. Heading into the February National Signing Day, Smith is the only new commitment lined up to be formalized on Wednesday, but at least one more target could join the class. The Ducks' class ranks No. 3 in the nation by both 247Sports and the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. The class is headlined by five-star recruits Jalen Lott, Kendre Harrison, Immanuel Iheanacho, Anthony "Tank" Jones, and Jett Washington.Continue for a look at each Oregon Duck commit in the 2026 signing class. Better get the nicknames ready.I was thinking Oregon's defense having a Devon Jackson at LB and a Devin Jackson at S would be tricky for announcing, and they go and top that with two Anthony Joneses.I think former Duck Anthony Jones (now also a DL) still has one year left at UCLA. So, there apparently was a non-zero shot of having 3 Anthony Joneses on the Duck DL in the same season. Then I remembered USC recently added an assistant coach from TCU named Anthony Jones... and then it was just time to stop. 🙂

13 hours ago13 hr No. This amount of talent acquisition in brand new. Oregon has had quality here and there, but not so much of it all at one time. 5 stars, borderline 5 stars, high 4 stars, and former 5 stars via the portal make this a stacked program. But even recently, much of the top line talent has come from the portal. I would like to see more recruits develop and turn into conference all this and all that kind of players.

He is done for the year. He was asked yesterday about 4 and 5 star players now wanting to play at IU. Curt Cignetti expressed that while the influx of 4 and 5-star recruits is exciting, he remains focused on selecting players who fit the program's culture and work ethic, stating he would turn away talent if their commitment isn't there. He emphasized that the core values of improving daily and maintaining the right fit for the team will not change.
1 hour ago1 hr No. After watching the 2 hour show on the BTN about signing day yesterday ... I had to go out to my garage to get my hip wadders when Lincoln Riley showed up on the tv. I put the remote on pause while I did that. UCS #1 recruiting class??? Overall, the B10 is going to be brutal again next year. IMO there might even be a 2-loss team make the B10 championship game. Luckily the $EC playing 9 games MIGHT help some in the non-$EC CFP teams but that will also be an annual battle of the bias media. Really only 11 CFP spots available with the "automatic bid" to the Irish in rewarding them for their weak schedule. Should be some exciting football games. Look for last seasons's losing teams to play better due to their coaching hires. All those new hires seem to be better than those they are placing. I also had to put the wadders back on this morning while watching Chip Kelly's interview yesterday from Northwestern. Sorry, Kelly fans.
