Until someone who actually covers the Ducks reports the hire, I am going to be skeptical. Yesterday it was a UCLA person and an ESPN person who said it was Chip. Today it is an Atlanta paper saying it is Lanning. 

 

Not a word out of any Oregon sources to date... 

Some news reporters are hacks too. This was probably just for the clicks.

Well placed skepticism, but I like the click!

Oregon reporters are so slow and afraid to take a risk they will be the last to announce it.

Have you watched them lately? I watched a 45 minute video where Matt Prehm and some other guys were discussing the next coaching hire for Oregon and they didn't throw out one name. These guys are so afraid I actually trust them less than other random sources.
