Posted January 18, 20223 yr Chad has entered the portal has 1 yr left. Wouldn't it be cool to have him finish his career with the Ducks. He's a legacy and would be able to help our young WRs.
January 18, 20223 yr Author Also just saw we signed OL #3 out of Hawaii for 1st of the 2022 class under DL era. Edited January 18, 20223 yr by Duck 1972
January 18, 20223 yr I was really disappointed when he chose UCLA over Oregon. Now, looking strictly at production he had 18 receptions for 286 yards last season as a third year player. With limited scholarships I hope they recruit someone a bit more dynamic.
January 18, 20223 yr Administrator Hard Pass. He had his chance, and we do not have the scholarships to spare. Mr. FishDuck
January 18, 20223 yr Agreed. I’ve watched him for 4 years at UCLA and he is just an average pac12 receiver. Respect his family and wish him the best, but we can find a better receiver in the portal than Chase.

I was kinda hoping that under these loosened NCAA eligibility rules, we'd get an extra "bonus" year out of Chad Cota. You know, under the recently-adopted "distinguished alumni exception corollary." Chad might've lost a step or two, but I'll bet he can still bang with the best of them.
