Oregon heads to Salt Lake City to Face Utah

 

Yup that's what makes college sports so much better than the pros. Every game is a "must win".

Well, Dave Miller is back on the call, at least he's never coached at Utah, 

 

A pair of free throws by Dante gives the Ducks the biggest lead of the game, at 20-16. Now 20-18. 

Two offensive fouls on the Ducks only thing stopping them on a 3 minute, 10-0 run. 

Ducks dominating the boards, 22-10, lead at half, 43-31.

Second half on FS1.

 

 

Nice hangtime by Richardson, to score over a 7 footer!

As they say on TV, "The Utes aren't going away, Ducks lead down to 6, 50-44. 13:30 second half. 

Richardson is a crafty lefty.

I'd like to see a lot more production from our Bigs.

Looks like Guerrier found his three pt shot again.  He endured at least a 3 game drought.

Regardless, if the Ducks pull this W, it was an epic collapse in the final 2 mins, up 10 pts.

Ducks are choking, poor rebounding and box out.  Utes want it more than the Ducks..

Fortunately, the best free throw shooting team in the conference was off, and the next to worst was hot. Utah, 15-23 65,2%, Oregon, 9-10, 90.0%

Going into the tournament the Ducks need better D

The 2 toughest places to play and win in the conference... Ref ing was poor especially towards the end of the game.

How long did the last minute take? 10 minutes? 15?

I noticed the same thing.  Anytime there was a tangle of bodies*, Oregon picked up the foul, even if it was obvious to the TV camera that Utah was the aggressor...  And, I might be prejudiced, but it seems I recall the same thing happened at Colorado on Thursday.  Do the PAC12 refs have it in for us??  Not to be a conspiracy theorist (or maybe I am one LOL!!) but it seems like Someone really doesn't want the Ducks to win...

 

Glad we prevailed anyway!
