Dana is Bringing in Another 5* Recruit This Week.

Recommended Posts

Mookie Cook, formerly from Portland's Jefferson High.  If he signs, he would tie Bol Bol as highest rated recruit ever.

From Portland? This could be huge! Way back, Richard Washington, from Benson High went to UCLA, Danny Ainge from North Eugene, went to BYU. EJ Singler from Medford did come to Oregon, but his big brother, Kyle, went to Duke. Fred Jones, was born in Arkansas, but moved to Oregon and did attend hifg school in Oregon, and of course, Luke Jackson. So, some Oregon high schoolers have come to Oregon, but let's start getting more of them!

Absolutely. Mike Moser, from Portland, eventually got to Oregon, after, UCLA and UNLV, and is now on Graves's staff.

Oregon has definitely produced some excellent talent on the hardwood. Kevin Love and Danny Ainge probably could have had the largest impacts, but went elsewhere. Ainge not signing on at Oregon may have caused Harter to move on. Go Dana!

Go Dana and 700 wins is amazing and hope for many more years and salivating to see what Altman can do with 3 or more high draft choices.  Regarding Ainge, the need for a baseball progrm was critical as he played at BYU and don't forget was drafted by the Toronto BlueJays eventually becoming the BlueJays' starting 2nd baseman before going back to basketball and becoming an NBA all star and playing many years.

Would like to see some highlights of Mookie Cook but can't find any on Hudl.
