Pennsylvania Duck Author Moderator No. 2 Share Posted December 21, 2022 Oregon gets verbal commitment from Texas starter Junior Angilau Texas Offensive Lineman Junior Angilau has announced he's the latest transfer to commit to the Oregon Ducks football program. The interior offensive lineman was on an official visit to Oregon over the weekend to check out the Ducks. Angilau played in 34 career games for the Longhorns from 2019 to 2021, starting 23 of those games. He missed the entire 2022 football season due to an injury sustained during fall camp that kept him off the field. Going into the 2022 season, Angilau was expected to be one of the Longhorns' top offensive linemen and a potential All-Big-12 player. Those same expectations will carry over into the Pac-12 as he joins the Oregon Ducks. Pennsylvania Duck Author Moderator No. 4 Share Posted December 21, 2022 Texas OL Junior Angilau commits to Oregon Ducks Angilau is a veteran player who missed the 2022 season in Texas because of an injury, but before that he had started in 34 games over the previous three seasons, being named a Second-Team Big-12 Preseason All-American leading up to the 2022 season. With his size and experience, Angilau projects to be in line to compete for a starting spot right away and help rebuild the Oregon offensive line after losing four of their five starters from the 2022 season. Depth is important and Oregon's going to add more to back these up. Any idea on a RT in the portal you're high on?
