Pennsylvania Duck Author Moderator No. 3 Share Posted March 6, 2023 Dana Altman 'not sure' where Oregon stands entering conference tournament Several teams, specifically the ones on the bubble, are taking note of their position for the NCAA Tournament. Even with Oregon on the outside looking in, though, Dana Altman isn’t entirely sure, or at least isn’t very interested, in any opinions about where the Ducks are projected at the moment. All Altman said he was worried about following his team’s 73-68 win over Stanford is that they have the momentum of three straight wins behind them as they enter the Pac-12 Tournament. From there, he is focused on maintaining Oregon’s defensive success while also finding enough contributors on the offensive end. We've got some good teams in the league this year, we ahve a couple that are underrated as far as national perception is concerned," said head coach Dana Altman. Oregon's quarterfinal opponent hasn't been set but that'll be decided Wednesday afternoon when No. 5 seed Washington State and No. 12 seed California play for the chance at the Ducks. "You get yourself ready," Altman said of the challenge of preparing for a game without knowing the opponent. "We've got both teams scouted. We've played both of them recently. So we have some pretty good scouting on both of them. It's not much different when you've played both teams twice." This year the Ducks went a combined 3-1 against the Cougars and Golden Bears.
