Jon Joseph Moderator No. 1 Share Posted April 23, 2023 All of these 5 teams are on the Ducks 2023 schedule. Just spring games but (Gulp!) UW in particular looked darn good. DeBoer appears to have been an excellent hire. Gold: News, views, notes and quotes from 5 Pac-12 spring games Saturday SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM Another half-dozen Pac-12 teams settled in for their spring games on Saturday, while only two more remain. Here are some key takeaways from a busy Saturday. Nothing you can do about it but I wish one of UW and Utah were being played in Autzen. USC gets UW and Utah in LA and had the chutzpah to complain about having to play the Utes the week after Troy plays Notre Dame. I wonder how USC is going to feel come 2024 about no longer sitting at the head of the table?
Charles Fischer Administrator No. 2 Share Posted April 23, 2023 Add to that—Oregon does not have a good history of trying to win at Tempe. (Play them November 18th) As Dilly has changed that team incredibly already and they will be jacked. Mr. FishDuck
Jon Joseph Author Moderator No. 3 Share Posted April 23, 2023 So, don't dally against Dilly? (Sorry.) Spot on about losing games being a favorite in Tempe. Dilly is competing with Prime Time to see who can have the bigger roster turnover. The conference is so deep this season. Wish we had a 12-team playoff field in 2023. Notalot No. 4 Share Posted April 23, 2023 The conference schedule will act like a winnowing machine. The chaff will fall away and the wheat will remain for post season play and accolades.

Excellent take friend Not but the winnowing process likely prevents any Pac-12 team from making the final, Final 4.

I'll go out on an April limb and predict at least one one-loss or better Pac team in the coming season. Cream rises to the top. Four teams have a shot to become great in 2023 and earn a playoff spot with superlative play.
HappyToBeADuck No. 7 Share Posted April 24, 2023 It is going to be a great 2023. Should be some great games and must watch tv....... There is no room for losses in OOC games. The conference schedule will be brutal. A one loss survivor, boasting a 12-1 record after the PAC 12 title victory should be heading to the CFP. Hopefully the loser of the BIG and loser of the SEC title games will have 2 losses. Because a 12-1 Bama, Georgia, tOSU or Michigan could pose a problem for the PAC Champ. Let's hope the Ducks are that 12-1 PAC Champ. 13-0 would be a sure invite. The journey will be challenging for the PAC Champ. However, multiple high profile games against top 25 opponents will bode well for the PAC.....
Nevada Dawg No. 8 Share Posted April 25, 2023 This is an interesting year as many of the usual favorites (Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State ) are breaking in new QBs, and it is quite conceivable that two or more of these could have 2 loses after Championship week. So, yes, there may well be playoff slots up for grabs by others this year in my opinion.
