  2. Thank you, Jordan, for another great package to open on Christmas Morning! Did Santa leave us some great games or what!🤩 Beat the Bobcats! B1G - 6-0 is a great B1G start! 😋
  3. Today
  4. Orange is the new black Charles. It's hard to believe that Leavitt was once a hot coaching prospect after the 2007 season. One where he led USF to number two in the country at one point. Jim had to run that program out of a makeshift trailer as USF had the same facilities as that fake high school in Ohio called Bishop Sycamore.
  5. GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY!

  10. The Oregon Ducks' 2025 opener is finally here, as they'll battle the Montana State Bobcats at home this Saturday. How to watch Oregon vs. Montana State on Saturday: Time, TV channel for Week 1 game
  11. The Oregon Ducks, ranked No. 7 nationally and expected to make another run at the College Football Playoff, begin the 2025 season with an unusual yet comforting blend of elite talent, tactical secrecy and unflappable swagger. Whatever wunderkind Oregon coach Dan Lanning is serving up, bottle it and sell it. Only Lanning’s magic elixir of charisma, dedication, hard work and ... Oregon Ducks Kickoff Season with Special Sauce, Hold the QB
  12. I remember seeing kids wearing Nebraska jerseys in school when I was a little lad in the 90's. I remember seeing names like Favre and Aikman and thinking " What's a Favre or what does Aikman mean?" I thought they misspelled Favor and Ache Man. This was before I became a football fan, really sports in general. But Nebraska jerseys were prevalent nation wide. There were kids in Florida wearing Husker gear. I saw Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State to go along with Florida, FSU and Miami. I also distinctly remember seeing those old colorful Starter 90's jackets when I'd visit family up north. Those things had personality man. Seems like everything is bland and homogenous today. That's one of the reasons why I liked watching Oregon because they weren't afraid of being bold. But back to Nebraska and what many have said, they don't have that large following nationwide anymore. I still see a few Husker shorts out here in Arizona, but they are dwarfed by Notre Dame, Michigan, and Ohio State. Those folks are spread out everywhere and those Buckeye fans will do that OH-IO randomly when there's a large contingent. I do a polite golf clap and congratulate them for knowing how to spell. I'll tell you they weren't doing much of that in the 2006 BCS Title game though😂
  13. 45-9 is what I want it to be, but I’ll go 34-10
  14. Loses and is significantly out-gained in yards despite Georgia Tech having 3 turnovers and more penalties. Also poor coaching clock management on last drive. Anyone else enjoy watching that? 😄
  15. ...to be wearing Beavis attire. I don't get it... He seems like a swell guy.
  16. The outdoors stuff is attractive to some recruits but not all. Eugene has a small to.medium town vibe depending on time of year. Feels very different in the summer from the winter. Also feels very different from the UO part and the non-college parts. Portland is two hours away which might matter for some to have a large-ish city close. But the biggest thing Oregon has for recruits is it's a destination for football. You're going to get the best facilities and the cutting edge equipment, some of which the pros don't even have access to. Lanning is recruiting players who are coming to Oregon for the football first and foremost. Football is the destination and anything else is a bonus. Is Nebraska making themselves a football destination or just a legacy stop? That might be the difference maker.
  17. Just went out and got a yellow shirt, the only color I didn’t have. It reminded me of back to school shopping as a kid and my biggest priority was seeing what the new Duck shirts looked like that year. My favorite was the Duck flying a bomber with Kamikaze Kids on the side. Now that I think about it, I probably haven’t grown up much since then!
  18. I got my yellow Oregon shirt ready! My eldest daughter (3) was like "Dad your shirt... It's yellow" I usually wear a green Oregon shirt.
  19. What the %#£¥ was Lupoi thinking! There it’s already begun!
  20. Most fans tend to criticize Stein in his lack of downfield passing and pretty much just call him a short route check down guy. The reality is that his bread and butter is the short routes where he gains the advantage in alignments and presnap reads. It's ruthlessly efficient. It's going to get yards and move the ball down the field and find the end zone. What more do you want from an offense? It scores lots of points on a regular basis. The chemistry didn't seem to be there last year for deep shots for whatever reason. The previous year the Nix to Franklin connection was gold. I'm feeling the 2025 team is going to be more explosive offensively.
  21. not if you judged him to be pretty darn good at the job. while I'd like to see more explosion plays score an easy touchdown or two, (I'm sure he is way ahead of me in making progress there), he HAS accelerated two different QBs. one was more cerebral and the other a more instinctive kinda player. both were superb with Will Stein's guidance. it would be a surprise if there isn't more of the same with Moore and Novosad
  22. Rivals 4-Star, but a very good defensive tackle that we need...
  23. You know...it is really hard to stick to my own rules when I see some of the things that are written. So I will refrain, but offer some facts: Andy Staples for On3, and a similar ranking by The Athletic recently analyzed college Offensive Coordinators, and both ranked Will Stein as the No. 1 OC in the nation. (Click on link) Below is from the Big-10 Network Telecast of their visit to Oregon's Fall Camp. (Stein has been OC for the last two years) So over two years...he is ranked by numbers, and expert opinions to be No. 1 in the nation? Fans are never happy... (And we know better, right?)
  24. Oregon 49 - Montana State 14 2 T0s 2 sacks 295 passing yards
  25. So Dillon Gabriel gets named as Cleveland's No. 2 QB. Have I miss judged Stein, and do things look good us at quarterback?
