  14. A rather anticlimactic win for the Bruins after the Ducks tie it up in the top of the 7th,
  15. Penn State is my sleeper this year in the B1G.
  16. I definitely like this and give me the Edge from USC(e), Stewart. it was very satisfying to not see the SEC dominating the Draft, after the B1G has won the Natty two years in a row, and the SEC wasn't even in either game.
  17. I'd love to see Caleb Downs at safety along with Thieneman. That's a heavy dose of SEC OL guys along with Fano from Utah. Possible sneaky good opening game when the Utes play UCLA in Pasadena. TE from Vandy? A&M guys are always here, and the Aggies lose four games every season. I'm not sure that Klubnik is the best QB in South Carolina. LaNorris Sellers at USC(e) is a baller and took down the Tigers and Klubnik in Clemson last season. In Clemson's opener vs. LSU, LSU QB Nussmeir could outplay Klubnik. But can Kelly win an opening game? Where was Clemson DL Woods last season? The Clemson D gave up a lot of big plays. Clemson could go 10-2 and win the ACC with bookend SEC losses. Including Special teams, 12 players from the SEC and 6 from the B1G are on the list. The B1G was not dominated by the SEC in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft and more than acquitted itself vs. the SEC in the postseason. I think there are players on the Georgia team that Kirby would not trade for the Texas and the A&M guys. Thanks for the post. OK, please pass me a Dixie Cup.

  19. The Ducks are undefeated when they hit a home run. Hit a home run!
  20. They have three cream puffs to start the season and they only travel to the West Coast one time to play UCLA. However, they have Iowa and Ohio State back to back on the road. If they can get through their schedule with one loss they will be a serious contender.
  21. I'm sure any of these players would make a great Duck. My first thought was our old buddy, Jeremiah Smith. But would he help the most? 24. I don't usually worry to much about missing on guys here and there. However, there has been a clear shift in strategy over the past 4 months, with Oregon losing 4 and 5* commits and consistently missing on high end prospects. This is becoming a trend and is very concerning. As David pointed out above and I agree with, it is challenging to get recruits to Eugene. But Oregon had built an advantage in two areas...brand and money. Oregon had the funds to compete with the big boys in the NIL game, and now they are going to pull back? I think that is a massive mistake. Losing out of Greene and Cantwell is huge and extremely disappointing. If you have money to spend on recruiting, those are the two guys you really needed. You can try and live off portal talent for OL play, but I am not sure that will get you to the promised land. Here is an excellent article posted by Smith 72 on why consistently, talent, and experience playing in a system with the same teammates for several years is so critical to the success of OLs.
  25. 6 PM in November--BRRR! But 1 pm game (1 PM!!! ) for the Montana State game--YAY! The earlier in the day the better for a game in August. And 12:30 for the OK ST game, woo!
