So, Which Do You Prefer, a Home Playoff Game or a Bye into the Quarter Finals?
It would have to do with which bracket path puts us in the most advantageous position. Tend to agree with FD that no Buckeyes until the last game would be best.

Oregon - Washington Post-Game Reports, Interviews, Etc.
The magnitude of OBD intercepting Williams, Jr TWICE (in be-fuskled Stadium, where that had never happenedin his budding career), seems to be lost in many of the national narratives.

Rags to Riches - FINALLY, for Dante Moore
Assuming Dante returns for '26, he could be scary good. With a healthy receaving and rushing corps, and an O-line anywhere near this season's standard, the offense could potentially be a monster.

So, Which Do You Prefer, a Home Playoff Game or a Bye into the Quarter Finals?
Have to agree with Charles... Hopefully it would allow Oregon to resurrect a couple of currently unavailable players from injured reserve status. If not, #5-6 is probably OBD best option. It could potentially give an opportunity for the reserves to shine.

So, Which Do You Prefer, a Home Playoff Game or a Bye into the Quarter Finals?
If we could move up eventually to a number three seed, then I would take the bye. I just don’t want to face Ohio State until the finals…

Critical CFP questions
How about the team that lost its head coach, and apparently also its O-coordinator today? Ole Miss. A&M lost to Texas, which was the only team A&M faced in the upper tier of the final SEC standings. Didn't get much publicity, but A&M's conference schedule was comparable to the ease of Indiana's last season.

Agreed. A project like Michigan State would be a four or five year turnaround, but the patience factor is so extreme, and the expectations of a miracle…are crazy.

So, Which Do You Prefer, a Home Playoff Game or a Bye into the Quarter Finals?
I would want a playoff game at Autzen, the players & fans deserve it, imo. I think it helps a team get tuned up more and better prepared for the quarter finals.

Critical CFP questions
This is my problem with unbalanced schedules. Texas played 5 playoff caliber teams, including the bubble. ATM played two and lost to the team that played 5. The playoff committee continues to value wins and losses over body of work, schedule, and last season performance. Based on what I have seen the last few weeks, there is no question in my mind that Texas is a better team than ATM right now.

So many of these coach firings are hilarious. He's only been at MSU for 2 seasons, what kind of changes were they expecting in such a short timeline? It's freaking M...S...U... 🤦♂️

So, Which Do You Prefer, a Home Playoff Game or a Bye into the Quarter Finals?
Depends. If you're the 5th or 6th seed then I'd take the playoff game. You still get around 3 weeks of rest and your first opponent is either a G6 representative or the lowest P4 team that qualifies.

We seem to get dinged up in practices as much as games. That's a tough call for me.

So, Which Do You Prefer, a Home Playoff Game or a Bye into the Quarter Finals?
I'll go with a bye into the quarters. One more week to get healthy, one less chance of a loss, less chance of injury (in theory!), rely upon last year's lessons in regard to a long layoff.

Oregon - Washington Post-Game Reports, Interviews, Etc.
Minimum of 3 (yes 1 due to no CShip game next week), maybe 4 if chaos ahead of them and they sneak into the #4 slot. Which would mean the BIG would have 3 of the top 4 as I do not see the loser of osu vs Indy falling out of top 4.

Some of his throws were crazy accurate, and his passing percentage is hurt by at least four drops by the receivers. (20-29)
