Do NEW Metrics Support the FanDuel Odds for CFB ’25 Champ?
Interesting RP hasn't been adjusted to the portal era? Not exactly sure how it is adjusted; but, if you look at RP for the Duck OL you see 1 player with 15 career starts However, the projected unit has 138 FBS starts and a collective 21 years inside college football programs. Over 100 career starts and an average of over 4 years of experience per starter are both very positive numbers. Hughes has 523 carries and 2,779 yards the last two years at Tulane. Jordan James finished his career at Oregon with 386 carries. Dillon Theineman had 210 tackles and 6 ints his last 2 years at Purdue. Theran Johnson 25 starts at NW. Oregon is going to be running a lot of young guy out there but an RP of 5 seems wildly off, even if technically accurate.

Do NEW Metrics Support the FanDuel Odds for CFB ’25 Champ?
Previously, we looked at FanDuel’s odds for teams to make the 2025-26 College Football (CFB) Playoffs (PO) and whether a team’s strength of schedule (SOS) matched the odds. Several teams favored to make the Playoff had minus odds. For instance, Clemson at -128 means you would have to wager $128 to win $100 plus the return of your bet. All ... Oregon’s Top 5 NEW Rivalries in the B1G
I break rivalries into two very different categories; the first are the ones that bring the bile of vomit up my throat, and that is of course... Huskies Trojans Beavis (in Baseball) The second category is "want" to beat them, their arrogant fans, etc., and I really only get that vibe from... Ohio State Michigan I agree with HDuck, in that it takes more time to develop the hatred, more wins by Our Beloved Ducks over those usual B1G heavyweights. We are in elite company now, and we will be in some blockbuster games over the next number of years!

Please READ! Forum Issues, New Sign In Required and More...
My Beloved Duck-Buddies, we have had an issue here on the forum since Saturday morning, and I was not able to get help until now. Pretty hard to contain my frustration, but without going into details...people on chrome often could not see the site and got an "Error" page when they came to the site. The only way to solve it was to clear everyone's Google Chrome cookies that automatically populated the password for you when you sign in. This means you have to sign in again, and mark "OK" when the password manager asks if it should remember your password. Please....email me for your password if you cannot remember it or cannot find it ONLY after you have looked diligently. BTW...if you put in for a new password, you will NOT receive an email as it says. You have to email me at charles@fishduck.com for a new password, and include your phone number, name and handle name for in case we have a snag. And once you are signed in, you do NOT have to sign out. Just leave and click out of the page, and when you come back--you are automatically signed in. There is no danger here in doing that... No problem, not frustrated at all...

Oregon’s Top 5 NEW Rivalries in the B1G
I am currently in Galway Ireland and saw this banner tonight at 10:00pm. It says K-State, I saw one earlier that said K- S State. We will be flying home from Dublin on Saturday the 23rd, the day of the game. If I was paying attention when I was planning the trip I would have stayed an extra day for the game.

Oregon Lose Five-Star Freshman to Brutal Leg Injury During Training Camp
From AI source: Dakorien Moore, a five-star wide receiver committed to Oregon, is not currently suspended. The news circulating about a suspension refers to Sherrone Moore, the Michigan football coach, who received a self-imposed suspension for the first two weeks of the 2025 season. Dakorien Moore is a highly-touted recruit who flipped his commitment from LSU to Oregon in May 2024. My best to McNutt and I hope he continues to love UO

It has only been out there for an hour or two. Possibly my post should be deleted until better confirmed. I did see the McNutt stuff out there yesterday, so that proved accurate, but maybe jumping the gun 😐

Oregon Lose Five-Star Freshman to Brutal Leg Injury During Training Camp
The Oregon Ducks were overjoyed to secure a commitment from one of the top rated defensive backs in the country, five-star recruit Trey McNutt. Unfortunately, it seems as if it will be quite a while until McNutt is ready to take the field for Oregon. According to Pete Nakos of On3, McNutt sustained a broken leg during training camp and will miss significant time during the 2025 season, if not the entire campaign. It's not yet clear how long he'll be out, but it's a big loss for the Ducks who were hoping to see the true freshman contribute right out the gate. McNutt was rated as a five-star safety and the No. 2 player at his position on 247 Sports's composite rankings. He was also heralded as the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio. His recruitment came down to Oregon and Ohio State, but he stunned the Buckeyes by committing to join Dan Lanning & Co. in the Pacific Northwest. Fortunately, the Ducks are well equipped at safety after landing one of the top defensive backs in the transfer portal this year. Ex-Purdue standout Dillon Thieneman transferred to Oregon during the offseason, and the injury to McNutt will likely result in an even bigger workload for the upperclassman. McNutt was one of three five-star recruits in the Ducks' recruiting class of 2025, joining the likes of wide receiver Dakorien Moore and cornerback Na'eem Offord. Oregon’s Top 5 NEW Rivalries in the B1G
I would love that. I know it makes zero financial sense for the B1G but if Cal and Stanford were added to the B1G and there was a west coast pod I'd be incredibly happy. I won't miss the Arizona schools or CU or Utah as much as I miss playing the old Pac-8. And I am not old enough to have any concept of the Pac-8 but that's where the West coast football tradition lived and it could be felt. As for OSU and WSU... Yeah... They'll need to invest a ton to get P4 recognition. But I'd love to see Oregon v Washington and USC every year.
