OBD is ranked 9th, behind a Texas A&M team that is Blue Chip when it comes to its roster and Blue Spit by the end of the season. Texas and LSU share the ignominy of giving up a lead and losing late to SC last season. EA ranks Clemson, which finished 2024 ranked No. 16 by the PO committee, ahead of OBD. In the last ten seasons, no team that finished the prior season ranked lower than 13th in the final committee ranking won a CFB championship the following season. Clemson is loaded with quality returning players, including a solid QB in Klubnik.
