  2. Washington was a trendy pick to beat Ohio State. Who's betting that line now?
  3. Is this possibly a rewarding for the hard work of the young players while resting the veterans in a long season scenario? Also the young players don't come out flat as they have something to prove even against a lesser opponent. No one wanted to see a repeat of Idaho last year and these guys came ready to play. A clear sign of who the real starters will be is in week 5. Till then it's still an audition with opportunity for resting players and developing players over the long season.

  5. I think even Montana State can handle that Husky offensive line!
  6. Right now I think Oregon destroys that Husky offensive line.
  7. CSU ties it right before half time!
  8. The SEC is now 1-6 in their last 7 games against the BIG?
  9. I’m starting to get Bryan Harsin/Auburn vibes.
  10. Puppies up a whopping 14-7 near the end of the 1st half and now they just fumbled away the ball off a bad snap. Cue Benny Hill theme music!
  11. I keep hearing about arm talent, but I didn't see anything super special. His spiral wasn't that tight and he overthrew quite a few open receivers. I'm judging him against the accuracy of Bo Nix' final year and Justin Herbert's last few years, so it's a pretty high bar, but when people start saying best ever, I'll say not yet. The bigger thing to me was he had command of the offense and his progressions. HOWEVER, that 3rd down play near the goal line after the blocked put was not good decision making. He got flushed out of the pocket, and ran out of bounds 5 yards short of the goal line accomplishing nothing. The announcers praised him for it, but he had the time to hold being the LOS and wait for someone to win the scramble drill. So I'm holding final judgement for seeing him operate with some consistent pressure. I do expect Dante to continue to improve like the rest of the team.
  12. …they’re struggling against Colorado State. It’s hilarious!
  13. They were that bad. Saw the whole game, eating massive crow!!!
  14. No worries. He'll be a great portal target in the future....
  15. Dante has the best arm talent I’ve ever seen at Oregon. Time will tell if he reaches the “best Oregon QB”, but arm talent, yes.
  16. To be expected given the level of competition, but Dante met/exceeded all my expectations.
  17. It is so great to be humbled so emphatically!!! It's definitely Gut Check time for DeBoer. He looked a little dazed. Unlike Ryan Day last year during the Michigan game, DeBoer looks concerned. I watched an ESPN analyst put it all on QB Ty Simpson, and I laughed outright. Bama might have lost its soul when Saban retired, Or perhaps he saw they didn't have the fire in them anymore. Whatever it is, nobody fears Alabama anymore. I loved the QBs today. Wished Novo got more time. DL has a dilemma on his hands. Play Novo and burn a redshirt (or Moga for that matter), or race to 45 and get them both some ample experience against teams like Indiana and Iowa (which it looks like both are possible-no joke. I wasn't impressed by either on the LOS). There is still much to work on, but now we know this team is more focused and seems to have a chip on their shoulders.
  18. Maybe Paul is going to observe Labor Day in his home with the shades drawn and the door locked and a ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door.😉
  19. Got it-i thought that's what you meant
  20. I sure hope we aren’t kicking ourselves for letting that freshman QB from Hawaii who portal’ed to Cal go without a hell of a fight. He looks the part against oac on their first drive. With that said I hope he beats the feeble beavs by 10 touchdowns.
  21. Watching the condensed game on you tube, Noles were balling and playing really hard, that impressed me the most. They are for real if they play that kind of inspired ball all season. Almost seemed like Alabama's O line was bad, but not enough footage to see for sure
  22. Here's an Insight into the Obvious. Saturday TraditionRapid Reaction: Julian Sayin outplays Arch Manning in win...Ohio State forced Arch Manning into too many mistakes on Saturday afternoon in a narrow win over the No. 1 Texas Longhorns.
  23. PAWALLLLLLLLLL! https://athlonsports.com/college-football/paul-finebaum-had-three-historically-bad-takes-before-week-1
  24. I saw everything I needed to see from Moore today. I'm excited for the offense and defense.
  25. I like Dante’s quick release…he can get a pass off in a crowded backfield when needed. He was accurate throwing from the pocket, and at least one pass while rolling out.
  26. I think he means the rose bowl loss.
