  2. Thanks, Oregon Reigns for the article. SP+ 2024 preseason SEC rankings. Unsurprisingly, the SEC is deeper and higher rated top to bottom than the B1G. Makes sense based on the SEC's recruiting and portal-picking rankings. Oklahoma comes in 8th in the SEC and 15 nationally. How would you like to play this cruel and unusual schedule: Dallas: Red River Rivalry vs Texas. Home Games: Tennessee and Alabama. Road Games: Auburn; Ole Miss; Missouri; and LSU. And do the same in 2025 with only the Home and Road venues changing. Texas A&M Football ranked in the Top 15 according to ESPN’s SP+ AGGIESWIRE.USATODAY.COM Texas A&M’s offseason success has led to rising in the newest ESPN SP+ rankings

  4. My FishDuck Friends, The article above is a pay-article to help take care of the bills, but it actually has some good information in it. Dan Lanning is really improving our roster, and note the big drop-off from No. 4 on that list to the rest of the B1G! The location of the SEO company that created this article is in La Massana, Andorra (wow!) Now where is Andorra? It is a tiny country located between France and Spain...of course! (Wowsa, can you believe where all the backlink orders come from around the world?)
  5. The college football offseason is an exciting time where teams, coaches, and fans can reflect on the previous year, and plan ahead for their upcoming ties. Fans will speculate about potential changes right up to the season kicking off on August 24th, and some might even want to place bets on their college’s chances. 9. Stewart Mandel is one of the best and most impactful college sports journalists. As Stewart so advises, every college sports fan needs to take a deep breath. The House settlement will not incent college sports fans to tune out. In 2021 when the NCAA, at the point of a gun, allowed college athletes to market their Name, Image, and Likeness, viewership of college sports did not drop off. Instead, viewership of money-making football and basketball increased as did viewership of Women's sports. College athletes earning their market value did not destroy fan interest. Mandel: What college sports' pay-for-play era will mean — and won't mean WWW.NYTIMES.COM A day few in college sports would have deemed imaginable even three years ago, much less 30, has (almost) arrived. But we'll keep watching. This article has been posted on another thread but in light of the changes coming from the House settlement, this NY Times article IMO deserves a thread of its own. Puddles will continue to fly high. The viewership after the B1G move will be B1Gger than before.
  10. A reasonable post-House settlement from Stewart Mandel. Mandel: What college sports' pay-for-play era will mean — and won't mean WWW.NYTIMES.COM A day few in college sports would have deemed imaginable even three years ago, much less 30, has (almost) arrived. But we'll keep watching.

  14. It's nice that the Ducks are still in the hunt for this young man. However, I have a hard time getting excited about our prospects of landing him when he just "narrowed" his list to 9 schools.
  15. Oregon Ducks In Pursuit for Elite 2025 Offensive Tackle Recruit The Oregon Ducks are looking to bolster the future of their offensive line with 2025 four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison. 16. Oregon Football has a weak non-conference slate. Is that an issue? Oregon moved its schedule around to keep the Civil War on the dockett, and they'll travel to Corvallis in September to play Oregon State rather than hosting Texas Tech. Is Oregon's non-conference slate being somewhat weak going to be problematic as they hunt for the Playoff? On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin dives further into Oregon's 2024 football schedule. He responds to a BOLD take about Ohio State coming to Autzen this year and whether or not they could be in for a tough day in Eugene. 9:25 Oregon Basketball's high hopes are not just confined to Eugene, as national media outlets are seeing them as the contender that they are. Plus, Oregon Baseball goes 2-and-out at the Pac-12 Tournament heading to regionals, but not all is lost. 20:55
  17. And this is how the invasion can come to pass. The economic incentive could end up too enticing to pass with fans who hold extra tickets. And I'd not assume that there aren't people, seeing the appeal of the battle of the Os, purchased blocks of tickets to cash in on this opportunity. (Sure hope that I am wrong however).
  18. Omigosh! I just had a flashback to all the shows I had to watch so many years ago when my daughter was small. Do I want to watch them again?
  19. I have a 9 year old daughter and she still watches Bluey. I don't say anything because I secretly like it. The Dad is pretty solid in that show, especially in the "neighbors" episode. Both my wife and daughter say all the time that he is exactly like me. I might push for NIL Bluey money. I also like night games because I get to watch with no interruptions.
  20. Man! I wish the Pac12 still exists with all the money that Leisure Suit Larry was giving to all the schools minus his pay, private jet, car, office, and personal assistants...we would be rolling in the RED...
  21. We went 2-2 with Beavis this year in Baseball, and missed the conference championship by ONE game. (Won by Arizona) Not your sport anymore, Beavis.
  22. Sorry OBD peeps into this boring butt "sport!" Time to concentrate on better things...I tell all the Beavis at my company that they can have baseball and gymnastics but they won't get Football, Basketball, or Track...go ahead and sellout for baseball...have you seen Hayward?
  23. Both of those games were played when the students were not in school yet. It's why visiting fans sat in those sections. Nebraska played on Sept 9, 2017 and Tennessee Sept 14, 2013.
  24. Disappointing after the regular season they put together. Go DUCKS!
  25. Sorry but I have 8 tickets and will sell 6 to the highest bidder. Even if they go to Suckeye fans...
