  1. I totally respect that opinion, and I 100% agree. Just sayin' the "bad" Bo exists, and is a possibility. I have been impressed with his development, and decision making as of late, but people are susceptible to their flaws, and it seems always at the worst time. Of course I will be rooting for Bo to do his best.
  2. I completely respect your opinion, however, at this point in the season, I myself won't be agreeing with you.
  3. That's a fair discussion point. But so is that fact that Utah is the first ranked opponent for USC, and let's face it, Utah isn't firing on all cylinders. The battle for LA should be telling.
  4. This doesn't feel like the Utah team of last year. USC is looking good, but Utah has made some mistakes that have helped USC. Should be an interesting measure of the south. Just like Oregon vs UCLA next week. Either way, the Pac12 has shown that it has more than 1 team that can contend for a Playoff spot... Given the right circumstances.
  5. I don't know where everyone is but here where I live it's 90 in the middle of October! What is going on? This is NOT about climate change. It's about it being 90 in October. Period.
  6. Amazing game. This is why we watch. That field of orange was a sight to see. Can we get it in green?
  7. I've been waiting for Kris to make a play like that! What a grab!
  8. Can't say enough good stuff about Bucky & Noah. Coach Locklyn as well. That position looks like it's in good hands. Been a while (Coach Campbell) since I felt comfortable with that position completely.
  9. **cough** coug' it **cough**
  10. I think at first a majority did... But it became clear who was calling the shots.
  11. Nope. UCLA, Utah, and the puppies are all in our house.
  12. Awesome detective work, Mic! I did know, or expect that! The offense still needs some honing in, but our scoring average is alleviating concern right now for me. It's our defense that needs to see the most improvement because we are allowing way too many points, in my opinion. With two defensive minds like DL & TL, the defense, one would think, would be the strength of the team. I'm going to go a bit further and suggest that mostly it's our pass defense that needs vast improvement. Seems our run defense is pretty stout. But considering the Pac12 is traditionally a pass-heavy league, ... I believe Oregon is in good shape overall but this may not be the year we make the most strides. The future is bright at Oregon under Dan Lanning, though.
  13. 1a) UCLA - Chipper is raising a lot of expectations among bruin fans, and after the last few unexciting years, that fan base is impatient. I feel like if this start turns into a letdown season, his seat is going to get pretty darn hot. 1b) USC - they are BACK! ... Or so their fans wanna think. For a program famous for how it has parted ways with some of their coaches, LR might just keep an eye over his shoulder if they don't meet expectations. I'm not saying he will be fired if they don't make the playoffs... But if he did get fired for not making the playoffs, ... would it surprise you? Obviously Oregon isn't going to be on this list, for me, because Oregon isn't a ruthless program. Right?...
  14. How can you not miss the pirate? But, no. Well, I guess I miss his oddness in the media, but I certainly don't miss OBD defending that offense.
  15. There's a large gap between being a coordinator, and head coach. I don't think Dilly has crossed that gap... In fact, I don't think he's even close. But, I could be wrong.
  16. He had a win last weekend (because they had a bye ), so his seat prolly isn't any hotter, but I feel like Miami will ride out the season with him, at least. Mariø will win a few more games, just enough to cool his seat a bit. He will talk big all off season long, pumping more sunshine, and prolly repeat this years results again next season. That's far enough into the future for me. I feel if his recruiting holds, he will get through 2 seasons. Beyond that, who knows.
