Any Potential First Time Matchups?
I hope we don't rely exclusively on former Pac-12 opponents when it comes to OOC scheduling, I would dislike that lack of variety so much.

Any Potential First Time Matchups?
One of the most infamous "never happened before" matchups will indeed happen in 2027, when Auburn takes on Notre Dame: https://fbschedules.com/auburn-notre-dame-schedule-football-series-for-2027-2028/ So this got me thinking, is there any other games of this nature that could get off the list soon? I'm guessing yeah, as 2027 will also give us Oregon vs. Baylor and Miami vs. Utah, two very decent first time matchups that despite not being that notable, are still first time ones, beyond that, we'll be getting Alabama vs. Arizona in 2032. But Notre Dame vs. Auburn is one of the most infamous "never happened before" matchups alongside Michigan vs. LSU and Oregon vs. Alabama, I'm certain those two will happen very, very soon. Thoughts?

Big Ten Going to 20 Members in the Future?
I honestly doubt North Carolina and Virginia go the Big Ten, since there's been countless reports the Tar Heels and the SEC have mutual interest.

SEC 9 Game Schedules! Could a Big Ten/SEC Alliance Be Next?
Gosh, I wanted the SEC challenge to get finalized and to force teams like the two Alabama schools to finally come to the West Coast, ESPECIALLY Eugene.

SEC 9 Game Schedules! Could a Big Ten/SEC Alliance Be Next?
If this does end up happening I'm gonna wonder how will the SEC handle future non-conference scheduling, but if our conference manages to get an alliance with the SEC I'm excited to see what teams could we force to come to Autzen during the first 3 weeks of the upcoming seasons.

Two Future Utah State Games Cancelled
I wonder if we're gonna do more changes to our future schedules beyond this and the eventual addition of more Civil War games.

Two Future Utah State Games Cancelled
I legit knew this was gonna happen, I'm certain that Oregon will schedule the disgusting Beavers from Oregon State to replace these matchups.

Hmm, Looking for a Punter?
Apparently the Duck is in New Zealand right now and we don't even know when will his upside down tweets stop, I thought they would end on August 1st due to the announcement video mentioning "July 2025". A lot of people theorized the posts were meant to tease a football game hosted in Australia but it's looking far less likely right now...

Notre Dame Opposes B1G Proposal
I just want the CFP model that would let us still schedule a good team like Alabama in non-conference play...

Hmm, Looking for a Punter?
I'm hoping I'm not the only one who thinks this is teasing something like one of the University's athletic teams playing in Australia, also, what does the punter joke mean?

2027-28 Baylor Series (Plus "Civil War" Return in 2028?)
Listen, I know that I'm probably not gonna get good looks for it, but I genuinely think this series shouldn't be played, even tho it was scheduled in a time where it seemed like a decent matchup. Today's news regarding the fact the Big Ten and SEC have more control than the Big 12 and ACC (especially in the future) really proves how bad this matchup is, imo, we won't gain anything from playing Baylor aside from a win on our 2027 and 2028 records and crossing an opponent from our "unplayed opponents" list, imo, the game should actually get replaced by a matchup against a much stronger team like Alabama or Notre Dame. There's also something I found out... A few days ago, Scott Barnes, Oregon State's AD, says the Civil War game will most likely take a two year hiatus in 2026 and 2027 but could return in 2028, there's a catch tho, our OOC schedule is completely full that year, with NDSU, Baylor and Utah State in the schedule, so it means at least one game from the schedule will get the boot if the rumors are true. Thoughts?

Big Ten x SEC Alliance and Playoff Expansion Coming Soon?
I was in the r/CFB reddit and someone posted this tweet with some huge news! I don't know how many people will like them tho. The article mentioned an hypothetical Oregon vs. LSU matchup as an example of what Big Ten vs. SEC matchups would bring a ton of eyeballs.

Future of Civil War Football
Fair, travelling to Corvallis isn't desirable anymore.
-
Future of Civil War Football
I just hope we end up drawing a highly uncommon opponent like Alabama in the Big Ten x SEC alliance (if it goes beyond the planning part)
-
Future of Civil War Football
TBH I don't like the cupcakes only ideology, those matchups are extremely boring and predictable, imo, what we should do is keep Oregon State permanently similar to the Colorado vs. Colorado State rivalry, an SEC opponent in case the scheduling agreement gets agreed to, and a regional opponent like Utah or Colorado.

Could Oregon Football Schedule a Week 0 Game?
I'm hopeful we get more scheduling news someday regardless if the idea proposed above happens or not, hopeful that we can schedule some SEC foe once the scheduling model for that conference is chosen.

Could Oregon Football Schedule a Week 0 Game?
Could Oregon football schedule a Week 0 game in 2025? AUTZENZOO.COM Oregon football had what I would consider a successful first season in the Big Ten. The Ducks finished with a 13-1 record in a College... Even if this idea to improve our SOS doesn't happen this season, I'm hopeful it can be proposed to the athletic department and that we schedule a game in Las Vegas or another western stadium against a highly successful opponent like Alabama or Miami. Albeit a home-and-home series would be best!

But What if We Lose the Big Ten Championship?
I'm sorry for having made this kinda negative post, but I thought that we also need to think about the possibilities if Penn State somehow beats us. Doing all my possible calcs, I found out that there's only two possible seeds for us, the Number 1 seed or the Number 5 one, this is due to us having the best record in the nation so far, if we win, we'll be the undisputed number 1 team and we'll play in the Rose Bowl with a bye (I smell roses...) But if we lose to Penn State. I have a strong feeling we'll end up with the highest first round seed, which would be #5, some people would think we could be in a battle against Notre Dame for that spot should we actually lose the CCG, but I believe we'll come out on top, since we would have an extra win (12-1 compared to 11-1), most projections have the #12 seed being either Alabama or the Big 12 champion (reconciliation against Arizona State or revenge against Iowa State?). Ofc I'm hoping that we do win the CCG, but if not, I would hope we get a really weak Alabama to play in Autzen... Go Ducks!

Oregon Opens -3.5 Over Penn St
A nittany lion is supposedly just a cougar. Anyways, game-wise, I hope we do have a chance to stop Penn State's offense and destroy their defensive line, btw I know that opponent comparison is kinda dumb but we literally beat Ohio State, a team which exposed PSU at Beaver Stadium. So I'm certain we will win.

It's Official: Ducks Clinch Spot in Big Ten Championship Game

The Big Ten and SEC Alliance Just Grows Stronger and Stronger
As you all know, there was a meeting on October 10th regarding our new home and their southeastern counterparts, which went pretty smoothly in terms of scheduling, now, a few days later, it seems the possibility of an scheduling alliance is inevitable, with a lot of possible matchups bringing eyeballs to CBS, NBC, Fox and Disney. There's still some issues that need to be resolved regarding our schedules, would Oregon drop the upcoming games against Baylor and Oklahoma State in favor of Texas or Alabama? Could we continue the Civil War against Oregon State? (albeit they're no longer a Power team) Getting teams like the Longhorns or Tide to Autzen Stadium and viceversa is obviously going to be positive gains for the networks and fan interest, honestly I can't wait to see what sorts of wacky matchups this alliance brings. GO DUCKS!!! SEC, Big Ten discussing series of ‘challenge’ football games, reports say WWW.AL.COM Talks considered ‘very preliminary’ at this point
