Should Oregon Play Osu Every Season?
Wish some random staff member would make an article discussing Oregon's future schedule options, directly giving Rob Mullens ideas for home and home series' like Bama and LSU. as well as the most important topic, discuss if we should keep playing Oregon State.

The Future Schedules: Only Cupcakes?
Well, today I was browsing through r/CFB and I found a rather shocking post involving Ole Miss' future schedules, their AD said that not all currently scheduled games are going to stick, and despite not saying it outright, it's believed that the home and home series involving U$C that was set to begin in 2025 will most likely be cancelled. What does it mean for the rest of the FBS? I'm still praying that Oregon doesn't go the easy way and keeps scheduling cupcakes for every season, I'm still eager we get to see a regular season Oregon vs. a random SEC team game someday.

Should Oregon Play Osu Every Season?
I honestly agree with everyone here, the Civil War no longer means what it once meant, plus Washington is a more formidable rival now. I also want more diverse opponents on our schedules rather than just MWC and Big Sky teams, like, would it hurt to at least play a home and home series game against Alabama, LSU or Florida? I would also mention a random ACC team like Miami or Clemson, but one of them is very likely to become a new Big Ten member someday. Ik everything can change between now and the next few years, but at least knowing Alabama vs. Oregon could be scheduled to happen would make me die a happy man.

Rob Mullens: Is it Sloth or Apathy?
Well I wanna know how Rob is gonna handle Oregon's future schedules from now on, IIRC he once spoke about that with John Canzano and said it's difficult to get good teams to visit Autzen. But hopefully he can agree with Greg Byrne to finally get that Oregon vs. Bama matchup scheduled once in and for all, regardless if it is a kickoff game or a home and home series.

The SEC Is Staying with Eight Conference Games in 2025?
The fact Ohio State got Bama to travel to the North makes me wish that Oregon is able to do the same someday!

The SEC Is Staying with Eight Conference Games in 2025?
This reminded me of how much I have kept begging for an Oregon vs. Alabama game, but everyone keeps saying it won't happen... Greg Byrne (Alabama's AD) recently mentioned in a video that he would like to keep and add good quality opponents to UA's future schedules, so I hope he agrees with Rob Mullens for either a home and home series or a kickoff game, preferably the former.

How Long Before the ACC 'As Is' Breaks Up?
I really hope that they can get Miami in the Big Ten, I don't know, just wanna see the interactions between The Duck and Sebastian on the sidelines. And don't forget about Mario Cristobal.

Why I Think Oregon's Future Football Schedules Won't be Filled With Cupcakes.
I've made a huge mistake, sorry...

Why I Think Oregon's Future Football Schedules Won't be Filled With Cupcakes.
I wish Charles Fisher gave us a little insight on how Oregon's future schedules could look like beginning in 2029.

Why I Think Oregon's Future Football Schedules Won't be Filled With Cupcakes.
I'm completely aware of the 2024-28 schedules, we should definitely keep our Baylor and Oklahoma State home and home series' and then schedule good teams like Alabama in the 2030's, hopefully we get an insight of the programs Rob Mullens is working to schedule 👀

But if Rob Mullens wants to only schedule bad and weak teams, then I'll respect his decision.

Why I Think Oregon's Future Football Schedules Won't be Filled With Cupcakes.
Most people here want our Ducks to stop scheduling teams like the ones belonging in the SEC or Big 12 after we join our new conference, with the entire-non conference schedule instead being filled with teams like our former Pac-12 foes and very, very local FCS and G5 teams. I would definitely get the situation...if it was related to our non-conference basketball and baseball schedules. For football, I do think Oregon could do just fine scheduling teams like Alabama and Clemson, even though Power 5 games against Utah or the Arizona schools wouldn't hurt either, the reason? Oregon's football schedule doesn't have to rely heavily on traveling despite our Big Ten move, because usually two of our non-conference games are played in Autzen Stadium, some seasons have even featured three non-conference home games, for other sports like basketball and baseball I do understand since they have more regular season games than football and hence more traveling issues. And for those who think it would make our schedule even harder and more impossible to compete for a natty, just remember that the playoffs will be expanded to 12 teams, meaning it will be much easier for Oregon to compete there, so that's why I think Oregon can still schedule teams like Bama without being affected negatively, albeit my preference would be to schedule diverse P5 opponents, have an annual game against Oregon State and a Big Sky FCS team, so that way, everyone wins.

The ESPN Playoff Predictor and Oregon
I've decided to toy around with the ESPN Playoff Predictor now that we are in the final week of the regular season, I've decided to pick every possible scenario with Oregon winning, and it seems that in every single one we end up in the playoffs, don't know why but I won't complain. Is Oregon's BlueSky Social Account Real? Because if Yes...
UPDATE: They deleted the posts replying to fans, including the SEC scheduling one.

Is Oregon's BlueSky Social Account Real? Because if Yes...
Thanks, I'll just go report the account for impersonation, send me the proof and I'll attach it to the BlueSky team.

Is Oregon's BlueSky Social Account Real? Because if Yes...
Prior to August 4th, the uncertainty about Oregon's future home after the departures of USC, UCLA and Colorado from the Pac-12 was strong, but a few days prior, Brutus Buckeye, the Ohio State mascot, gave a clue for something that eventually turned out to be true. Oregon was joining the Big Ten. While the original post, captioned "BIG things coming", was only posted by the OSU mascot in Instagram, there was a sister to it, there's a social media named BlueSky Social that is intending to be an alternative to Twitter/X, and there was an account for the University of Oregon's athletic programs, with a post very similar to Brutus' accompanied by the same picture, but, the question still remains... Does Oregon actually have a BlueSky Social account? It's actually a debate that continues to this day, and no one has figured it out, there's evidence going on like the fact they have never attempted to troll anyone and posts the same things as the Twitter account, but they do reply to fan posts in the platform, something that barely occurs in other social medias (albeit the low amount of followers may explain it). If the athletic department does have an account there, then there's going to be news that will be received in a very mixed way, Oregon is not planning to shy away from tough competition in football and will schedule some SEC programs in home and home series', of course, I know that most people here want the Ducks to schedule incredibly bad teams, but I can't see the Ducks doing that in football, considering the Big Ten only plays 3 non-conference games and usually only one is in the road, in other sports like basketball, then I can see most of the schedule being filled with former Pac-12 foes. But the question remains, is that account real or not? Because if it is, be prepared for SEC foes coming to Autzen Stadium.

Oregon Ducks Future Schedules - Does Rob Mullens Understand Puddles is B1G?
As much as I wanted to see Oregon scheduling Alabama in a home and home series in 2035-36 due to my desires of seeing the matchup, I do at least understand why y'all want weaker opponents, I feel this year will be our biggest chance to win it all

Future Non-Conference Games in the Big-Ten?
I know that this will sound extremely controversial, but I actually don't want Oregon to go around and just schedule the former Pac-12 foes that are now in the Big 12 and ACC. I get that Oregon's new schedule in the Big Ten will be extremely different from what we faced off in our history in the Pac-12, but seriously, scheduling cupcakes won't be good at all, the only local opponents that Oregon should schedule are G5 opponents from the Mountain West (I doubt the B1G will allow us to schedule FCS teams anymore). Plus I'm sure that the Pac-12 members that don't share a conference will want to go different ways with their programs, I've heard OrSU doesn't want more games against us even tho we want to continue the Civil War. I really want Oregon to schedule a SEC team, no matter if it is Alabama or a lower tier team like Florida, because competition will make our program stronger and I want more diverse opponents from conferences we barely have any history with, in comparison to the Big 12 which has 3 consecutive home and homes with us, and we won't have to worry about losing more than 2 games because of the 12 team playoff. We don't have to fill our schedules with SEC teams but I would prefer at least a series against a team from there in comparison with very constant home and homes against the Four Corners schools.

Future Non-Conference Games in the Big-Ten?
Well, Alabama has scheduled a lot of P5 games against programs like Ohio State, Wisconsin and Notre Dame, they even scheduled a Western team in the form of the Arizona Wildcats. The reason on why I want to see Alabama vs. Oregon so much is because they're my favorite programs ever and the fact that matchup has never happened in football yet, and Greg Byrne does have heavy Oregon ties.

Future Non-Conference Games in the Big-Ten?
As y'all may know, I'm a passionate fan for non-conference scheduling, and my favorite team is obviously Oregon. Many people here said that we needed to wait for the Big Ten to release their scheduling model in order to further discuss what opponents the Ducks should schedule in their non-conference slates, with our furthest P5 opponent being Baylor in 2028 after series' with Michigan State and Ohio State got the boot, now that we have gotten clarification that the B1G will remain at 9 conference games (unless another team joins), how do you expect the Ducks' future non-conference schedules to look like? I've seen people saying that Oregon will probably just schedule local opponents to keep travel costs minimal, but I wonder if they would have any desire to schedule any former Pac-12 foe aside from Oregon State, which I think should remain in the schedule but it's looking more unlikely as time goes on and the Beavs may get relegated to the G5, so if the Ducks still want to schedule a P5 opponent, I really want a series against a SEC program, since our schedules have 3 consecutive Big 12 opponents that will not bring a lot of eyeballs in comparison to games against Alabama or LSU, plus I've heard that the Ducks won't shy away from tough competition, even if the opponents in our new conference are better than the ones in the Pac-12. I would really like to see the Ducks scheduling more P5 teams in home and home series' even if y'all want local opponents, a series against Alabama would be awesome and I hope Greg Byrne and Rob Mullens agree to it someday, but I also want to find a way to schedule Oregon State as well. But the point is, how do you expect Oregon's non-conference schedules to change once we join the Big Ten?

The B1G Announces Oregon's 2024-2028 Home / Away Schedule
Wonder if this announcement will affect anything in our future non-conference schedules aside from the obvious fact that the previously scheduled home and homes against Michigan State and Ohio State got cancelled. I'm sure Oregon will just schedule their former Pac-12 mates, tho a series against a SEC team would be really cool.

Future Non-conference Schedules - TBD
University of Oregon schedules in Big Ten are still ‘TBD’ WWW.OPB.ORG The UO Board of Trustees met Tuesday to hear updates on athletics conference realignment. I found this article about Oregon's schedules when they eventually join the Big Ten in 2024, a part that caught my eye was one saying that Oregon may just schedule teams that are located close to the state (aka former Pac-12 teams), and we may continue scheduling random Big Sky opponents over and over again, this is most likely because we will travel to states like Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey pretty often. While I do appreciate that we are looking to keep some former Pac-12 matchups alive, I still wanted to play an SEC foe in a home and home series...
