  1. I'm 100% sure Oregon would be an elite basketball team in the Big Ten, in fact, I sometimes think competing in the Big 12 would be absolutely harder. But anyways, the Pac-12 seems absolutely screwed now, all media deals won't seem to satisfy us and Washington so even if the money is similar in the Big Ten at first, they could get more national exposure in TV due to the deal with NBC, Fox and CBS, and I'm sure there will be a point where we will get a full share even if takes 6 or 7 years. Like I said, I'll really miss the Pac-12 but Oregon joining the Big Ten would be good for them, plus I'm looking forward to games against our new conference rivals plus USC, UCLA and Washington.
  2. If the Ducks do join the Big Ten, I'll be happy for them and at least know that their decision was the right one for them, but I'll really miss the Pac-12, I saw the new article saying why Pac-12 survival is a big interest but I doubt it will manage to survive, sadly. The Pac was one of the most interesting conferences and I disagree over the fact it was weak, but as I said, it isn't our decision, it's up to Oregon to decide where they go if the Big Ten offers them a spot. I personally would be excited for our future conference matchups against teams like Ohio State and be able to at least keep USC and UCLA in the schedule (hopefully Washington is brought in too), and no matter which scheduling model is brought in, I hope the Ducks are welcomed in a good way to the conference, tho I'm aware the move is not guaranteed.
  3. I know this will sound generic but I'm a huge Oregon Ducks fan, albeit I consider Alabama as my second team. BTW I actually don't live in the United States, I'm from Costa Rica and I started following the NCAA because of the mascots, but now I enjoy how entertaining the games and traditions are.
  4. Recently I've been very interested in seeing how does scheduling work, especially with matchups like Ohio State vs Alabama coming in the next few years as regular season non-conference games, but for us, the Oregon Ducks, I feel our future non-conference schedule could be improved upon. Right now, we have 5 Power 5 opponents scheduled as home and home series: Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Michigan State and Ohio State. None of which are absolutely easy opponents that we should understimate, especially the Buckeyes, but I would like to see more diversity with teams from the SEC and ACC, as well as some traditional Big Ten powers like Penn State or Michigan. As a result of this, I'll ask you, what's the best opponent you want to see the Ducks schedule? In my opinion, it's Alabama, a matchup that would bring tons of attention to the media, especially with how it was requested a lot back in the final years of the BCS era, and while those years are far behind, I still would love to see the Ducks play against the Crimson Tide, especially if it is in Tuscaloosa and Eugene instead of a kickoff game. Other opponents I would love to see being scheduled are: Florida, Clemson, Notre Dame and Penn State. But, what programs would y'all like to see being scheduled?
