  1. They just can't accept that they lost. Ryan Day says Ohio State submitted final Oregon play to Big Ten, argues time still remained on clock 247SPORTS.COM Ohio State says the officials made the wrong call.
  2. When it rains, it pours! Oregon Ducks football recruiting favorite for No. 1 QB in 2026 class DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM 5-star quarterback Jared Curtis, the No. 1 QB in the 2026 class, says... On Monday afternoon, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported that 5-star quarterback Jared Curtis, the No. 1 QB in the nation, is favoring the Ducks above all other schools at this point in his recruitment. Curtis is rated as the No. 6 overall player in the class of 2026, and he stands at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds. Last week, Curtis announced his decommitment from the Georgia Bulldogs, so his recruitment is still in the early stages.
  3. DL is the reason I'm feeling the most confident about our coach not leaving in a long time. He's expressed both privately with the team and publicly that he's staying in Eugene until Oregon kicks him out. Given his young age, his tenacity, motivation, and passion for the program it just leaves me feeling giddy about what the next 5 years are going to be like. That being said, I'm sure the level of success is going to ebb and flow (12+ wins every single season isn't really a realistic expectation). But my gut tells me that DL will always have the program functioning like a well oiled machine year after year, making it a consistent threat to the blue bloods for the foreseeable future.
  4. The difference being that we, as Oregon fans, knew better about the substance of OBD. Watching Indiana videos on YouTube they certainly look impressive, particularly when compared to last season's performance. However if you look at their schedule: Record/Team 2-5 FIU 3-4 Western IL 2-5 UCLA 3-4 Charlotte 4-3 Maryland 3-4 Northwestern 5-2 Nebraska Combined 22-27 Only 2 teams with winning records, one of them just barely so. Their most impressive win is of course is Nebraska which has feasted on bad teams but lost both of their ranked games (Illinois and Indiana) and is also starting a true freshman QB who is showing both flashes of great talent and growing pains. If Oregon somehow meets Indiana in the B10 championship I expect they'll make a real game out of it but TBH I like Oregon's chances in that scenario. But first they need to get past Ohio State.
  5. As good as Indiana is, I don't think they can beat Ohio State.
  6. He basically threw that 19 year old kicker under the bus publicly. I like Kenny but that was a terrible look and shouldn't have happened.
  7. I wonder when the B10 president will start asking USC and UCLA for a refund…
  8. And poison oak!
  9. So far Archie’s not doing any better.
  10. Texas is slowly losing the battle in the trenches.
  11. Same. I think it’s primarily from the running backs. Rushing is visibly weaker than last season. Part of that could be the OL isn’t is as effective on rush blocking as last season but a good part is that Bucky Irving was a special player. Jordan and Noah are above average college backs and perform well for the most part but Bucky was a nightmare for defenses to bring down.
  12. It seems that Will Stein is letting off the gas for the offense. Feels too early for that.
  13. That should have been a fumble recovery.
  14. I'd settle for Sadiq being able to block more effectively.
  15. Does that take into account travel fatigue?
  16. Ah thanks for the correction. Then I wonder if the team departing from Eugene a 3-4 days early would help negate that time zone difference to the team's biological clocks.
  17. Given the sheer delirium I'm seeing from tOSU fans online they might demand the AD try and FORCE Nick Saban out of retirement to coach the Buckeyes. Yes it's that insane.
  18. Yikes, it would make more sense to go straight from Maryland to Wisconsin and just spend the week preparing there rather than going back and forth to Eugene.
  19. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to repost this video!
  20. You have to be impressed with what Indy's doing and how they went about it. They went the unconventional route to get a bunch of players and formed them into a pretty solid team.
  21. I would argue that that influence is waning given the number of high school recruits leaving Southern Cali the last 5-10 years for Oregon, Alabama, Ohio St, etc.
  22. I also wonder if today's high school kids even recognize the name. He's been out of the college ranks for a long time and even out of the NFL for more than a year.
