U$C Loses Their No. 1 Recruit, More to Follow?
These articles are hilarious. They point the blame everywhere except the coaches. USC might very well be somewhat deficient in NIL (ironic given how much money is at that school) but most recruits want solid player development, to win games, AND have some NIL money. Riley's constant ignorance of defense is now catching up to him and it will take years to change that narrative. He needs to put a top 25 defense on that field for at least the next few years before high level defensive recruits take him seriously.

Matayo Uiagalelei Highlighted as Massive Second-Year Leap Candidate at Oregon
Matayo's on my list of break-out candidates as well. I hope he and Jordon Burch become a terrible two-some this season!

Major List of 5-Star Visitors Expected for Oregon Football this Weekend
Getting just a couple of those 5* guys would be huge. Dakorien Moore would be awesome to pair with Dallas Wilson for Dante Moore/Austin Novasad/Akili Smith Jr. to target in the next 3+ years. DJ Pickett and/or Trey McNutt would be much needed high end talent in the DB room.

U$C Loses Their No. 1 Recruit, More to Follow?
Riley can recruit however it's mostly offensive skill position players. Elite 5* defensive players would have private misgivings about committing to a head coach with a long and consistent history of ignoring that side of the ball, no matter who he hires for a DC.

Bryce Boettcher Awarded with the Collegiate Gold Glove
He might be better served (career-wise) to concentrate on baseball. He's shown some flashes last season that support him becoming a very good linebacker (he'd have an opportunity to show it especially since guys like Bassa are leaving after next season) but he's already at a high level in baseball right now. This kid is seriously talented.

U$C Loses Their No. 1 Recruit, More to Follow?
Plus why would they want to be part of a complete defensive rebuild where the HC doesn't really pay attention to that half of the team?

James Leads the Nation with a 94.8 Rushing Grade per PFF
I'd be shocked if he didn't get 1100+ yards this upcoming season. Kid can steamroll with the best of 'em.

Coming This Season On Offense
It'll be interesting to see what kind of adjustments Will Stein will make to the offense to fit Dillon Gabriel's skillset. He's a dangerous runner so I hope that's a part of the playbook.

Oregon Ducks Football: Undefeated Season Incoming?
It's fun to speculate given how much OBD have going for it right now. But there are still unknowns, the biggest being how quickly Dillon Gabriel gets comfortable with the offense. Let's see how things are going after the first 4 weeks or so.

Stunning Recruiting Info Has Me Shaking My Head Again...
That probably helps explain the seeming hyperfocus on high end blue chips only. DL and the staff are swinging for the fences and I love it.

Stunning Recruiting Info Has Me Shaking My Head Again...
I heard that the 2025 class may be smaller than previous years because of how the roster is right now. Can anyone confirm?

How Can Autzen Be Improved?
This would be the single most impactful thing for the crowds at Autzen. Improving the roads going out so that people exiting the parking lot more quickly has a cascade effect all the way to the stadium itself.

Predicting Early Struggles For Dillon Gabriel?
As with any new transfer coming into a new team there's always an adjustment period, that's perfectly normal. But for RJ Young to interpret that as a "struggle" is a real stretch and shows he isn't really familiar with Gabriel or with Oregon as much as he thinks he does.

Dan Lanning Not Done Yet With the Portal?
Looks like Bryce Foster is back this weekend. That's twice in just a few weeks. Former Texas A&M OL Bryce Foster reportedly visits Oregon again AGGIESWIRE.USATODAY.COM According to a recent report from ScoopDuck, Aggies sophomore center Bryce Foster may be nearing a decision...

Are We Seeing What Cristobal DREAMED Of?
He'll be forever limited by the fact that he can't stop meddling in his coordinators' business. Mario just can't help himself for whatever reason and until he fixes that his ceiling will always be a conference championship (and usually by the skin of his teeth).

New Photo of Oregon RBs Has Fans Marveling at Size of Jay Harris
I can see the Oregon's running game go very quickly to a "thunder and lightning" setup where Jordan, Noah, and Jayden wear down the defenses with speed and then Jay coming and pounding them into submission.

Dan Lanning Not Done Yet With the Portal?
He did play all 12 games last season and started 8. So at least on the surface it seems like his health is good now.

Dan Lanning Not Done Yet With the Portal?
Interesting news from the Locked on Ducks Podcast: Bryce Foster, the Texas A&M's starting center entered the portal back in April and is now apparently on a visit to Oregon. Basic stats: - 6'5", 330 lbs - 2021 SEC All-Freshman Team - Started all 12 games as a true freshman - Injured sophomore year - Started 8 games as redshirt sophomore Texas A&M Athletics 12THMAN.COM Bryce Foster (61) OL - 2021 SEC All-Freshman Team 2021 FWAA Freshman All-America Team 2021 The Athletic Freshman All-America First Team 2023 (RE... If he were to sign that would give OBD an experienced starting center, shoring up one of the few concerns I personally have on the offense (I like Pancho's potential, he just doesn't have a lot snaps under his belt).

Dillon Gabriel: "Lost a Bit of Zip on His Throws" ???
Feels like the author is drawing an erroneous conclusion based on too high of an aggregate (they're looking at this on a per team basis). If you look at it on a per season basis: Dillon Gabriel Career Stats - NCAAF - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Complete career NCAAF stats for Oklahoma Sooners Quarterback Dillon Gabriel on ESPN. Includes scoring, rushing, defensive and receiving stats. Dillon's 2023 stats were the best of his career with highs on completion percentage, passing yards, yards per attempt, and passer rating. He also routinely had long passes of over 50 yards throughout that season. It's clickbait designed to stir controversy where there isn't any.

Oregon in Contention for Long List of 5-star Recruits at On3 Elite Series
Yeah, I don't know why Dabo is so allergic to the portal. His program is falling behind because of it. I think DL has found the right balance of focusing on HS recruiting first and then plugging holes with a handful from the portal. As long as he's stacking top 5 recruiting classes the future is very, very bright.

Oregon in Contention for Long List of 5-star Recruits at On3 Elite Series
That's certainly the aim but it hasn't fully happened yet. I'm hoping the 2025 class is the next step forward!

Oregon in Contention for Long List of 5-star Recruits at On3 Elite Series
Can you imagine if OBD were to snag multiple 5* defensive backs? That would be amazing.

How the 2024 Oregon Offense Will ROCK
Great article Charles! I think it's safe to say we'll continue to see high-level offensive scheme design from Will Stein, that guy is a wunderkind of sorts. My only concerns about the offense are based on personnel: - How long it'll take before Dillon Gabriel settles in and gets comfortable with the offense? When Bo first came in, it probably took him several weeks of actual game play before we saw him really hit his stride with the offense. I expect about the same with DG. Thankfully the first 6 weeks of the upcoming season are a good time for him to figure things out before tOSU comes to town. - How will Pancho Laloulu perform as starting center? He did well in the Fiesta Bowl, however it was against Liberty so I take that with a grain of salt. Being a true sophomore who's stepping into the starting role after JPJ is a tall task for anyone.
