  1. Nope, he already transferred out. Just Florance now.
  2. You can definitely see why Dan Lanning recruited hard at DL and DB the last two cycles.
  3. 30 passing TDs vs 6 INTs, not bad. Add to that 12 rushing TDs, that's plenty of offense to bring to OBD. He was sacked 16 times this season though, so behind Oregon's stellar OL he would have even better stats I would think.
  4. A good senior season highlight reel of Dillon. Things I noticed: - Solid pocket presence. He doesn't panic when the pocket collapses, his foot speed looks similar to Nix however when scrambling feels more elusive like Vernon. - Despite being listed at 5'11" his arm strength and accuracy would be more than sufficient for Will Stein's bird bomb plays.
  5. Cautious optimism from me given that it's a visit, not a commitment. That being said, if things work out he could be a better version of Vernon Adams. I'll take that all day long.
  6. He'd obviously be a HUGE pick up and I hope it happens. DL also should do what he can to pick up Walter Nolen. Walter Nolen enters transfer portal: Former No. 2 recruit from Class of 2022 departs Texas A&M - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM Nolen, a defensive end, is the highest rated player to sign with the Aggies
  7. I think Arroyo was a better OC than most people give credit for. He was primarily stuck under MC's insistence on a ridiculously bad power run scheme...like the rest of the MC's coordinators, he did the best he could under that dark cloud and left as soon as possible.
  8. Yup. Pac12 gets $4 million for Oregon getting into the Fiesta bowl.
  9. Dillon Gabriel would be a really interesting get, in Will Stein's offense he would turn into a monster.
  10. Something also to consider: DeBoer has been coaching for ages and may have reached his apex. Lanning is only in his 2nd year as HC and has come up short by an average of only 3 points....3. One coach is more likely than the other to keep improving significantly over the next 5 years. I like Oregon's position right now.
  11. I get the feeling that Bucky was playing with an undisclosed injury. He just did not look like his dynamic self. Jordan James did ru more effectively but for reasons that escape me he wasn’t given more carries when Bucky was clearly struggling.
  12. Bill Oram at Oregonlive gives us the rundown on the Liberty Flames... Bill Oram: Everything Oregon Ducks fans need to know about the undefeated Liberty Flames, a football team from a university in Virginia WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Oregon's reward for an 11-2 season? Learning how many former FCS schools now play in Conference USA.
  13. Theoretically the game should be over by halftime. That means TT and maybe even Austin Novasad will get the entire 2nd half to run the 1st/2nd string offense.
  14. What happened in that room? I'm picturing a bunch of monkeys standing around a table flinging poop at each other.
  15. I think DL respects Bo enough to let him make his own decisions and not force him towards any particular way. He's very much an ultra-competitive gamer like Bo so I just don't see a benching happening.
  16. I see where you're coming from. But my sense is that Bo's pride and self-respect won't allow him to go out on a bad note, even with NFL dollars on the line. He just loves football that much, which I commend him for. P.S. I will also surmise that he's talked to and gotten support from his wife on this...which tells me that he has married well
  17. Snippet from the article NJDuck posted above: Sounds like there are definitely other starters/seniors that are going to play in the bowl, so it won't be a skeleton crew on the field New Year's Day.
  18. Exactly! He's not a spoiled, arrogant Caleb Williams or Shedeur Sanders. Bo loves football, period. This is just the latest example.
  19. This is the Bo we know all too well. The de-facto team leader and hyper competitive gamer! Frankly, I would have thought it would've been a bit out of character if he decided to skip the bowl game. Most likely the way the Pac12 season ended really sticks in his craw and he wants to go out on a high note. In this situation, no better place to do that than a NY6 bowl game on national TV!
  20. There's definite hope now that Bo announced he's playing!
  21. One more note, Oregon is still in the hunt for some high end recruits, you can bet they’ll be watching the game.
  22. My stance is that it is what it is. It’s still an NY6 bowl, not the Holiday or Alamo. Many of us predicted a 1-2 loss season and that’s where we ended up. This is a significant improvement over last season. Sure it’s a disappointment that OBD didn’t make the CFP (losing to the Fuskies twice by a combined 6 points doesn’t help). But this is still a high level, highly visible game that is worth playing. I hope Bo’s competitive spirit will have him play so they can wipe the floor with Liberty and show the nation how horrendously biased the CFP committee is. Don't be like USC!
  23. This is why I hate the 4 team format. It was always a begrudging half measure from the conferences and teams that wanted the best and only access to the top BCS bowl games. Personally I think it should have been an 8 team format from the beginning.
