  1. Oregon showing the entire nation what they can do.
  2. Very cool to see Jones and JPJ running out front blocking for Herbert. That was a massive wall of human and I actually felt bad for those ASU defenders for a second…. but only a second lol
  3. I'd be unhappy too if I knew I'd be fired pretty soon lol
  4. Maryland played a really gutsy game so far. But unless a miracle happens they'll come up short.
  5. Well not surprisingly it finally happened: Sheldeur Sanders got knocked out of the game after being sacked multiple times in the 1st quarter.
  6. Thread for the other games this week. Friday night’s “Battle of the Bottom Tier” pits WSU vs CU. Cougs are taking Prime’s kids out to the woodshed so far in the 1st quarter. A 98 yard kick return for a TD just put them up 21-7.
  7. No Mario prevent offense this year. Oregon will be fine.
  8. If I were in Donte's place I'd be initially excited but then after doing some research I'd realize that Chip's offensive schemes since he came to UCLA don't resemble anything like what he did at Oregon. That'd be a hard no for me personally. I wonder if their UCLA's NIL organization backed up the truck for him...
  9. He should've come to Oregon and learned under Nix before competing for the starting job here. Instead he chased immediate playing time in UCLA and that hasn't worked out well for him at all. Even if he goes into the portal I don't think Oregon would take him, they need an experienced transfer to up the competition and he doesn't have enough to bring to the table right now.
  10. I don't think DeBoer would leave UW either, I don't think he really has recruiting connections practically anywhere let alone in Texas. He's probably going to get a large contract extension by the end of the season then continue his crappy recruiting ranked in the 50's because he's got his payday. Then it'll be interesting to see how his QB situation turns out after Pennix leaves.
  11. Wouldn't that be hilarious that USC, UCLA, and UW would be in various stages of dumpster fires going into the B10 next season?
  12. The only thing that would've made Lanning's presser better is if he had made some kind of memory quote like, "They can pry this Oregon football from my cold, dead hands!"
  13. I'm of like mind with Canzano on this one. DL has spoken repeatedly about the needs of his family taking a bigger priority. I can't see him uprooting them again, especially since his kids have reached their formative years where environmental stability is king. Plus, I imagine DL is smart enough to understand that accepting any kind of ridiculous offer from aTm (if any came you can bet it would be ridiculous) it would come with the immense pressure of needing to win a national championship immediately. Even Saban or Kirby wouldn't be able to accomplish that in the 1st year of a new program.
  14. He should've been shown the door months ago after that Herm Edwards debacle.
  15. Something like the Trojan mascot (or reasonable facsimile) with a championship trophy stepping in and a donkey with a lump of coal exiting?
  16. Exactly. That's probably the most likely outcome, DL will get another extension and pay bump. But if Rob understands correct (as he should) that's just the price of success in today's college football landscape.
  17. There were multiple chances for Oregon to break the game wide open but they just kept stepping on their own toes (aside from that blasphemous phantom PI call). The OL really seemed out of sorts with so many penalties, seems to be a recurring theme for them (particularly in higher pressure games).
  18. At the end of the day Lanning may chat with aTM but he won't leave Oregon. Why leave behind a good thing that you've built yourself with nearly unlimited resources for a dumpster fire full of meddling boosters?
  19. This is Camden’s 5th year as kicker for Oregon. If he can’t get his mental game under control by now then it’s time to move on. DL preaches competition at every position, kicker should not be exempt.
  20. I get sad when I think back to Herbert's run under Cristobal. Jeez what a waste. He would've been a shoo-in for the Heisman under a competent coach.
  21. Yup that was my point. These Miami fans still can't see the forest through the trees.
  22. A seasoned kicker with multiple instances of these mental roadblocks over his career and is making only 64% of his field goals so far this season. We're 10 games in, DL's probably done as much raising up as he can probably do at this point. If anything, losing his starting spot and earning it back might bring back that confidence. Right now is the time to go a different direction since the next game is against ASU, perfect opponent to allow a new kicker to show you what he can do.
  23. There-in lies the rub. Mario just can't help himself and has to step all over his OCs. He hasn't learned this over the years and I doubt he'll learn it now.
  24. Some of those posters are hilarious. They think that if they had gotten Bo somehow all their losing ways would've been solved.
  25. He's not the only kicker on the roster. Time to give someone else a shot and see what happens
