  1. The big question is how Michigan is going to perform given all the distractions around Harbaugh flirting with the NFL yet again. It looks like he’s hired an NFL agent which just adds to the pile. Michigan football's Jim Harbaugh reportedly hires Tom Brady's agent with deep NFL ties WWW.FREEP.COM ESPN's Adam Schefter and Pete Thamel report that Jim Harbaugh has hired football agent Don Yee as his new representation.
  2. Aw don’t rob Austin of his TD!
  3. I’d love to see Austin pass for a TD!
  4. Rodrick Pleasant making a case for early playing time next season!
  5. Bucky looks like his normal self and nothing like the Pac12 championship game. I think he was nursing an undisclosed injury against UW.
  6. That reverse flea flicker screen pass was borderline disrespectful…I love it lol
  7. I don't think they were dropping passes all season quite as much as the first quarter and a half but then again my memory isn't what it used to be.
  8. After Cam declared for the NFL I expected DJU to FSU. No way any QB with a brain would want to play for Mario.
  9. I thought FSU was the best option for him but more power to him, good luck in the NFL. At least he was cognizant enough to see going to Miami would've been a death sentence for his career. Now it looks like DJU is committing to FSU, leaving Mario in the cold!
  10. I'm glad the offense knocked off that rust and finished the 1st half strong. Receivers were uncharacteristically dropping passes here and there but that seems to have gone away. The slow offensive start for the 1st quarter is concerning however, they can get away with that against Liberty and the lower half of the B10 but that won't fly against tOSU or Michigan next season. Hopefully Will Stein figures that part out early next season. Defense seemed to make adjustments more quickly and played angrier after that Liberty TD, I actually liked Bassa getting in the face of the Liberty running back after tearing his helmet off. I want them eating nails and breathing fire the rest of the way!
  11. One thing that @Mike West pointed out earlier was the linebackers' eye discipline, which (I think) RGIII mentioned during the 2nd quarter in passing.
  12. Will Stein needs to figure out these slow starts. I don’t know if it’s bad planning or lack of motivation but playing from behind from the get go makes things so much harder to win.
  13. Better effort by the D. Let’s go offense!
  14. Defense looking unprepared that first series. Lupoi better make some adjustments fast.
  15. He certainly has the foot speed to cause opposing defenses all sorts of problems!
  16. The key will be DL and WS getting better at their jobs over the next few years, of which I have no doubt. As they get more seasoned and more experienced, the on field results will naturally improve in visible (and non-visible) ways. OBD has as much potential to win it all as any other CFP contending team IMHO.
  17. The B10 is a much bigger pond than the now defunct Pac12. That being said these rankings do feel a bit subjective. But at the end of the day the proof will be in the pudding (or more aptly, on the field). I like Oregon's potential for the biggest splash of the 4 incoming West coast teams next season.
  18. That kid's at 240 lbs but doesn't have the lead feet that Noah Sewell had, pretty impressive.
  19. https://highschool.si.com/recruiting/2023/12/21/prediction-oregon-ducks-set-to-add-all-american-defender-thursday Latest prediction for Jericho Johnson is to Oregon!
  20. I get a 404 error when trying to read the article. Is the URL correct?
  21. Signing Day 2023: USC's 'mind-blowing' approach to recruiting casts doubt on Trojans' readiness for Big Ten 247SPORTS.COM Industry leaders have bold takes on the Trojans' recruiting class.
  22. I actually don't think he would take the Alabama job in theory, IMHO he just doesn't have enough of an attachment to that place other than respecting Nick Saban and learning from him. Georgia on the other hand, that's where he experienced his first real success as a direct contributor. If Kirby left and Georgia came calling, it would be a 50/50 shot on whether he stays or goes...in that scenario I think it would come down to what his wife and kids would say. If they're settled in and comfortable in Eugene then that would be the tipping point for DL to continue putting down roots in Oregon.
  23. LOL the hubris of usuc fans is really amazing. As if USC, a rich private school, isn't swimming in booster and NIL money? I also bet that before NSD he was one of them singing praises about Pellum's potential as a receiver for them...now he's downplaying those same skills as 2nd rate. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....
