  1. I have complete confidence in these coaches to recruit!! Also very happy with the results so far. Plus, I imagine we have the backing to be NIL competitive with most. I am eager to be shown great success for our new OC.
  2. Is what it is or will be. I hope he signs with us, but if not Oregon will survive. It is a new world in college football and I am not going to stress day after day about the choices HS kids make. He should do what makes himself happy and growing up in Michigan, he knows about crappy weather. I have confidence in Dan Lanning to get us recruits!
  3. I certainly do not want him to leave. I would like better judgement, of course, from him and others. I personally like Hutson a lot and think he is quite valuable to us. Go Ducks.
  4. I read somewhere a bit ago that Dante Moore has removed his Oregon commitment from his Instagram. No surprise, if true, but could cost us more offense recruitments Id guess if a fact. Anyone know more than me? I think we need a high end OC asap!!
  5. I believe Harrington wanted to hire Justin Wilcox as head coach. So, I say no thanks.
  6. All the things that happened to allow this loss happened. S*** happens in football. The refs, bad luck, unfortunate strategies, injuries etc. We could have and "maybe" should have won. But, the elephants have been on the field all season and it reared their head again today at the worst of times. Our pass defense is not Playoff Quality. Quite to the contrary, it and our 3 rd down defense is close to the worst in the county and it was inevitable that we'd be bitten by it sooner or later. We have worried that an injury to Bo would leave us dead in the water with no qb to count on. Well, it also happened at the worst of times. Watching Ty hand off and go nowhere to me was the most painful part of the game. I know nothing of the QB room etc, only that we obviously can not win with what we have seen so far out of Ty and we have not seen Butters at all. Most of us worried it would happen with SC... Hopefully we have a chance to try again against them in Pac 12 championship game Go Ducks, It has been a great season and I love our new coaches! If we win our last two games we go to play SC and a good shot a Rose Bowl. This season is a success already and hopefully more to come. We do not belong in the CFP as our defense is not good enough. The elephant is still there lurking and as long as we have to count on outscoring everyone, things like this will happen. Win out and be happy for a wonderful season!!
  7. No, I know nothing other than rumor.
  8. All the best to Sedona! Thanks for staying as long as was possible for you.
  9. Robbie Ashford was our 4th string qb last yr. an now starting for Auburn. Jay Butterfield and Tye Thompson must have been better eh?
  10. If possible, I'd like to see Oregon go to the Big if only to avoid the Pac 12 Refs. It is truly hard to understand how they become a laughing stop year after year. Do we not pay them, just what seems to be the issue?
  11. I have absolutely no problem with the occasional photo of cheerleaders. They add to the excitement of the game; the game is still played at this level for the entertainment of fans. I will allow the individual participants and the school to decide the choice of dress and routine. Yes, these are 20 year olds and I am in favor of their being allowed to express themselves in an exuberant manner of their choice within the culture of University of Oregon. We will each have our own levels of pleasure or discontent with certain photos or routines. This is more a reflection of our own personal perspective based, imo, upon our own layers of cultural preference and upbringing. Let the youth express themselves artistically and athletically as individuals within the freedom provided by our University. The cheerleaders are athletes and artists also and deserve out adulation, respect and freedom to perform to their best abilities. I do not personally care whether we do or do not have the photos, I will deal with my own mind and allow the kids to grow into theirs as best they within their own culture. I trust my daughters to do what they feel best about. and assume our Cheerleading program is watching out for them. I do not choose, personally, to impede the Cheerleaders expression with my own mind or expectations. Go ducks, and this is absolutely not a political statement of any kind. I totally support whatever Charles believes to be best for the health and success of this awesome site and will read, not read, look at photos or not, or comment upon specific comments or articles as I choose, and be grateful for the opportunity to do so.
  12. Always about the money. Disgusting but true. Better, in my opinion, to be in Big than left with a paltry tv pay out in the pac whatever. We will always be as competitive with equal payout, as our donors choose to be. First thing to do is to beat GA and then win the Pac 10 this year. Life is in the moment, the rest is just a mental exercise.
  13. IMHO, as long as the Ducks have the support necessary to pay the big NIL bucks, We will be fine wherever!
  14. As much as I wish we could go independent, I agree with David Marsh comments above.
  15. This is a reasonable synopsis. Fortunately it is out of our hands as mere fans lol. I will trust Mullens to do what he thinks best with whatever support Phil Knight and associate are willing to support. Go Ducks. I will come regardless.
  16. He has seen Mario s character up close, so whatever.
  17. I absolutely agree with Jon Joseph on this one. I do though appreciate the coaches that did stay for doing so; just not as acting Head Coach, when we had a classier option at home.
  18. Maybe.. Is certainly thought provoking , which is usually good.
