1 loss gets us in...2? just depends who are loses are with with. There are a few undefeated teams still left and I think Miami runs the table. Thats a really good offensive team.

Hope the ducks got there yesterday to acclimate to tz. Going East imo is tougher than going west. Young people like to stay up late and it's very easy going east, but getting up is the toughest part and that day seems almost a blur. Hope Dan gets them focused on game day especially if they arrive yesterday. It would've almost been better to arrive early this afternoon for a 7pm Eastern game.

Cam Ward is a gun slinger, the real deal. That team goes as he goes. Should be a good one at Cal hopefully.

LSU has proven they are not that great....So that win isn't that meaningful imo.

I prefer the coaches poll at this point as they now just how talented a team is, they couple that with results, where I dont believe the AP does that so much.

It doesn't matter at all what we are ranked at this point in the season. The bench mark will be OSU at Autzen in a couple games. We keep winning against next three then the stage is set.

Will is tryin g to establish a run game he can count on before league play. He will open up the play book more against the beavers with more passing. Once league play begins there will be a better balance.

Since we've gotten bigger up front on O&D along with new players, it going to take a bit to calibrate communication and cohesiveness. The last two teams we played reminded me of some of the teams under MB, not as big across but quick with decent scheme. When we start league play I believe we will see more big/moderately quick, against big/moderately quick lines.

The O line looked slow and a bit confused. It will take a while for continuity. Same thing Dans first year. We couldn't get a running game going otherwise DG would have thrown for 500. I'm more concerned about our running game versus O line. I also noticed we dint run RPO"s much. I realize we didnt show much off the play book. This next game will be a real test as they could have the best back in the country, although like our D. They have a quick d-line like Idaho so we best be in better sync up front.

I love coach Lanning and his energy. His enthusiasm for recruiting and building depth is fun to watch as well. He needs a couple signature wins to put him in the discussion. Wins against Ohio State and a must win is needed against the huskies.
