  1. Just as with the softball team, yesterday was BAD. But I believe the Ducks can get over it, as the title says, there's a lot to play for today. As Lanning says, this is an "opportunity" for the Ducks, and the Bruins could be a bit full of themselves.
  2. For both the baseball and softball teams, and using Lanning-speak, the games today are an "opportunity". Yesterday was BAD. Because it was a complete anomaly in how bad the beatings were. But I'm fine with the blowouts. The Ducks will get over them. The Bruins might be fat and happy. Go, Ducks!
  3. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM Sunday's winner will take the lead in the Big Ten Conference.
  4. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM Jacob Walsh homered twice, while Mason Neville tied the Oregon single-season home run records in a loss
  5. Well, it was two great wins for the Ducks yesterday. Today they both got run ruled,
  6. Home runs can be useful.
  7. Okay, the team that scores first doesn't always win, go Ducks!
  8. Lanning is Lanning, I don't want any other coach, particularly Prime or Curt "Google Me" Cignetti, both polar opposites of everything I admire and respect about Lanning. Cignetti brought a bunch of transfers with him to Indiana and beat a season full of cupcakes, Sanders had the Heisman winner and a projected first round pick at quarterback, but couldn't win the Big 12, which incidentally was won by a coach who was under the radar for most of the season, Kenny Dillingham.
  9. The phrase "If you're really good you don't need to say you are"1 implies that if you are truly good or competent, you don't need to boast or advertise it.
  10. Absolutely. If Duck wasn't a Duck to the core, He'd be a great co-host, I'd shove McAfee out and replace him with Duck in a minute.
  11. This game had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and none more so then when Lombardi took Grein out I could understand it, but over the years her pitching moves haven't always worked. But this one did. When Sokolsky whiffed the two Bruins to end the 6th, I shouted as loud as I have during any football game!
  12. Just like in the softball game, the Ducks won a close game 1. Not only close, but a pitcher's duel. The Bruins will want to blow game 2 up. If Oregon can keep control early, the energy will drain from UCLA.
  13. Game 2 in both baseball and softball will be huge tests, the Ducks won close games to start both series. UCLA will be busting at the seams to start hot. If the Ducks can keep the lid on from the start, the Bruins could burn themselves out.
  14. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM The Ducks' lefty allowed just two hits in a 2-1 win over the No. 10 Bruins
