  1. What I've really missed watching was the Duck RB, who turned the corner, saw the green in front of him and it was "Touchdown!" Is Makhi Hughes going to fill the bill?
  2. People with much more expertise than I have with "X's & O's" believe Oregon's defense isn't being coached at a Natty winning level, at this point I can see that. Lanning's next important move could be to address that.
  3. The QB is not the concern I have for tOSU. Kelly was the most important coach last season, he's gone; the 2nd most important was Knowles, he's gone. The two most important coaches at tOSU now are Hartline and Matt Patricia, the new DC. Day's still there.
  4. No.1 What If...I don't care. No. 2. I think the article has this question mixed up. Sayin doesn't have to better than Howard was last year, Hartline however does have to step up. Kelly saved the Day on offense and of course there's a new DC. A lot more questions than the QB. No.3. Can Franklin win a B1G One? Let's see, Oregon comes in a new QB, behind a new OL, a new receiving corps, new RB's, new DL, new secondary, and they're getting HFA? No.4 Let's evaluate what "elite" means regarding Iowa's QB. No.5 Nebraska could improve over last year and still might not be all that.
  5. Bear and Matayo sound like a devastating duo! If they're really effective there won't be much for Thieneman and the rest of the secondary to deal with. A stifling defense is and always will be, the key yo winning a Natty. This can be a stifling defense.
  6. Jabba, "Great Post" wasn't sufficient for yours! Nobody is calling Minnesota elite, what about Pitt? Yale? Oregon burst on the scene with Joey H and being screwed by the computer into missing the chance to play Miami. Oregon is elite, it wouldn't have mattered if Dyer was down if Chip had gotten out of his own way, and 2007? Only the Women's 2020 Basketball team was a more sure thing. Oregon is elite. From the Duck to the uniforms, the facilities, Oregon is always in the discussion, right up to, " need to win a Natty" U-Dub has a Natty, outside of Mountlake, no discussion of elite has included them in a long time.
  7. So, SEC- Alabama, Georgia, Texas, LSU, SCAR, Ole Miss, A & M, Auburn, Florida B1G- Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan USC ACC- Clemson, MIA, FSU IND, Good ole, Notre Dame
  8. Oregon is absolutely the elitest team without a football Natty; U-Dub is the non-elitest team with a football Natty.
  9. For instance, they have invested a significant amount in Lincoln Riley and the football program. Now, they need to be careful with NIL expenditures and success on the field. Reports also suggest that the university’s football is getting more financial resources as compared to women’s basketball, which has been a high-profile program the recent years.
  10. UNC fake class scandal and NCAA’s response wind their way to D.C. | CNN The NCAA declined to sanction the university, saying the scandal was academic in nature, not athletic. NCAA hands out punishment to Memphis for academic violations | Yardbarker
  11. What else should a recruit have to see? The Duck is The GOAT
  12. The team was great, and I'm not with Jameis in that "it could have gone either way", but this is not a game I want to watch over and over, it's basically Jameis's fumble.
  13. Concerns Surrounding Ohio State QB Julian Sayin Continue to Grow
  14. Sadly, I think the "lifelong fan" recruit is in the past. Just recently one of them picked a different school. That's fine, but why did the softball pitcher transfer to Texas Tech from Stanford? A million reasons come to mind. As long as the transfer portal exists, loyalty has never been more fleeting, it's "Show Me the Money" now.
