Payton Pritchard Progress
The Celtics are playing well, and Payton is right there in the rotation. In a couple of years, he could be starting. It's unusual that a player stays on the same team his whole career. other teams are certainly aware of PP.

Oregon's Receivers Want to be Like Alabama's Receivers
The title of the article uses a quote from Troy Franklin where he says that he and the other WR's "want to be lethal receivers". To me that means like Alabama has had, since Julio Jones. Do You Agree? Is the SCHWARTZ With YOU?
No doubt in my mind. Dixon wins the Heisman; the Ducks win the Natty!

My Wish List for the 2022 Season. What's Yours?
My big wish is that the defense becomes every bit as disturbing to the other teams that Chip's offense was, the coaches have no idea what to do about it! The offense is completely unpredictable, no false starts. Oregon's TE brings back memories of Gronk, the line opens a hole, the RB hits it and it's touchdown time! WR's get separation and the QB hits them in stride! Have 70 on the Huskies at halftime.

Sounds Like Some BIG Recruits Visiting This Weekend...

BOOM or BUST? How Lanning Can Silence the Doubters
I love how it's going so far for Lanning at Oregon. He wasn't on the short list when the search began, or maybe not even on the long list, but he got the job, at around the same time Riley was hired at USC, setting up a huge rivalry. Aside from Oklahoma, everybody seems to love the Riley hire at USC. The Trojans aren't being picked for the Playoffs, well except for Colin Cowherd, but nowhere have I seen a caution flag, a this might not work, about Riley at USC. Lanning, while not missing a step has in comparison gone about his business under the radar, and that couldn't be any better, for Oregon or Lanning. The Oregon brand is still strong, but it's showing its resilience while USC is shouting and jumping up and down to get noticed again. By the way, Russell Wilson just bought a new place in Denver. It only cost $14 M while Riley spent $17 M, for his in LA, both have 12 bathrooms.

Yeah--BABY! Diamond Ducks Now RANKED Between No. 10 to No. 23 in Polls
I am happy to see this article, glad to see that my perception of Earl was a bit outside. I didn't follow the Orioles very much, definitely was rooting for the Mets in '69. My thought was based on the thought's I picked up on that Weaver was fine with getting hits, preferably home runs and winning that way, rather than constructing an offense with his:"genius" On the Tigers, I was a fan when they got off to the great start in 1984 and ended up beating the Padres, and of course, Mickey Lolich is from Portland!

Yeah--BABY! Diamond Ducks Now RANKED Between No. 10 to No. 23 in Polls
This makes me think of long time Baltimore Orioles coach, Earl Weaver. Earl didn't play small ball and wasn't considered a "Genius". But the Orioles won, and they did it by scoring a lot of runs and having the pitching. In 1971, the Orioles became the first team since the 1920 White Sox to have 4 20 game winners, Jim Palmer, Dave McNally, Mike Cuellar and Pat Dobson.

Should USC Football Fear Oregon?
The humility here is how a USC fan differs from a Husky Honk who has never shown up. Ther is an open invitation to Softy. There's no setting our sights on USC. Respect yes. But it's been a long time since a W over the Trojans meant more than any other win.

Should USC Football Fear Oregon?
"Nothing to fear but fear itself". Right now, I don't see either program running scared, neither team would trade its coach for the other. But I like Lanning more, right now and in the future. USC needed to get Riley, a "Superstar". That's what works in LA. if Riley doesn't produce a sequel to Pete Carroll Snoop Dogg will be spending his fall in SoFi with the Rams and Chargers. Riley got OU to the Playoffs, 2 Heisman Trophy winners, and his QB this season is one of the favorites. It's win or bust for USC now. Lanning hasn't missed a step yet. Hiring coaches, installing a new culture, recruiting. As far as I know, Lanning and the other coaches have rooms at a Motel 6. They're working to have Oregon ready for the season. Nobody is expecting the Ducks to win the Natty. But they'll be ready for every game and leave it all on the field.
