PAC-12 Quarterbacking Must Improve in 2022 - Transfers Will Likely Tell the Tale
With Arizona starting so low any improvement will be noticeable, that it's deLaura is even more of an upgrade. While ASU is going up in flames, Arizona could actually be building something. Of course, we're all disappointed that the legacy of "the pick" might be subverted with the benching of Huard. Could Williams be the trifecta transfer QB for Riley to win the Heisman? Of course, there could be an * attached to this transfer, but it's USC so. Stanford has been off for a couple of years now, is Shaw really a great, above average, or good coach? DTR is the most experienced QB in the Pac-12. What will that mean?

Bizarre Number Changes--See Who...
Yeah, there have been the same numbers used by players on offense and defense, but the same position? Doubtful. Sometime ago it became "cool" to get the single digit. Runningbacks were in the 20's and 30's, but Reggie Bush was no.5, and if any player deserved a cool number it was him.

How it Happened: Smith Homer Leads to Win Over No. 2 Stanford
Any W over Stanford is cause for celebration. This was a win over No.2 Stanford, on the road. The Ducks start out by falling behind in the 1st inning. But clutch defense, gutsy pitching and a home run in the 9th to win. Oh yes!!!

Canzano on Altman: "The Trust Factor Wasn't There"
I do too. I don't think this season would do a lot to impress NBA scouts and next season with a hopefully better functioning team would improve his stock. There is still twitter activity about even a couple more recruits joining next season's class and Altman has always been active with transfers. Finish this season as well it can and on to 22-23.

Canzano on Altman: "The Trust Factor Wasn't There"
Last season Oregon State won the Conference Tournament, made it to the Elite 8. This season they won 1 conference game, lost their last 18 in a row and Wayne Tinkle's seat isn't even warm, there is no better illustration of the gap between Oregon and Oregon State than this. We saw in another topic the tweet from a "fan" who thought now was a time for Oregon to look for a replacement for Altman. Fortunately, his is a lone voice. Oregon never really got it going this season, but a couple of different bounces and this unsatisfying season has the Ducks with 22 wins and safely in the NCAA's Next season's recruiting class is one of the best in the country and definitely "In Altman we trust"
