  1. The Matt, MLK, will never be Mac Court, The Pit. The scoreboard won't shake. But I haven't seen any arena better to play basketball in these days. Cameron Indoor Stadium at Duke has a rep. But I feel like that's more just because Duke wins a lot more than any actual ambience.
  2. This is where you want to be as a program. Clemson is perceived as needing to "rebound" because they didn't make the Invitational; finished 10-3. Oregon's 10-4 team was in Invitational contention longer than was Clemson last season. Oregon fans didn't really think Oregon was ever the 3rd best team in the country. Clemson's offense was in trouble from the start, got better at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see how Clemson and Oregon do in 2022.
  3. Get some defense, Chargers, please!!!
  4. Okay, "academic prowess" Husky, that should be "choose the latter every time." But you were close.
  5. Ripping and roaring Ducks has to be deafening!!!
  6. Ronnie Lee is my No.1 of course, but my favorite Kamikaze Kid after 30, is Mark Barwig. He wasn't the superstar like Lee or Ballard, but no player personified Harter's style of play more. Opposing coaches game planned to stop Lee & Ballard, but Barwig was the player who made life miserable for the other teams. Before the Kamikaze Kids, west coast basketball was UCLA finesse, Oregon didn't do finesse.
  7. Absolutely agree about GB. He still is the single game scoring leader for the Ducks, 47, in a win over Oral Roberts in the 1974 NIT, and also one of the greatest moments in Oregon history, hitting 2 free throws, with O:00 on the clock to beat UCLA, 62-61 in 1976.
  8. Doug Little. He was a huge part of Harter's teams, being a holdover from Belko's teams, and the captain of Harter's first Oregon team, that went winless in the Pac-8 and 6-20 for the year.
  9. Georgia was No.9 in the country last season in points per game, 38.6. When Saban realized that teams needed an offense to win championships too, Kirby went along. SEC football is not filled with 9-6 games anymore.
  10. Dino scores in The Pick game
  11. The more things change, the more they stay the same
  12. Sabally took over the game, and Scheer had a steal and a huge rebound of a missed free throw.
  13. Oh the good old days. Parrish had the ball on top, Hurst goes to the basket, but no pass. Back in 2019 that was gold.
  14. Going through Sabally is a good idea
  15. Dorsey is another U Legend; played QB 99-02, a 2 time Heisman finalist. He was the quarterback when Miami beat Nebraska.
  16. Beautiful laser pass from Paopao to Pinto at the basket!
