Caleb Williams Commits to USC
I can certainly understand your thinking here. I would argue that for Playoff purposes, a stronger Pac-12 conference only helps Oregon. Oregon is remote enough already, add a weak conference and Oregon's chances shrink even more. This season Oregon could benefit from USC's return to prominence w/o having to face them until possibly the conference championship game.

Caleb Williams Commits to USC
I don't think "denial" is accurate when it comes to his description of SC's lines. They weren't good during Helton's time, and Riley has brought in a lot of "Skill" players via the Portal. But not so many "Big Uglies" on either line.

Recruiting is Still More Important Than the Transfer Portal
I agree David, to ignore recruiting in favor of the Transfer Portal to build a team is a high- risk move. SC is a great point. If Williams ultimately decides to go there, it's all good. But if he goes elsewhere, the Trojans have trouble in the QB room. Besides that, we're seeing Lanning's recruiting getting off to a great start. Not so much with the load of players in this class. But with the network he's building with the recruits, the high schools, coaches and academies for 2023 and 2024. The relationships that Lanning is building in this process will benefit Oregon for years; and doesn't preclude using the Portal to bolster the roster.

Could Wisconsin's new OC have the Connection to get Caleb Williams?
Without Williams, the QB room at USC has, Miller Moss, a freshman, Mo Hassan a redshirt senior, and Keegan Patterson, a preferred walk-on.

Pac-12 Basketball: What do the Ducks have to do now?
They certainly did, both in fastbreaks and in halfcourt situations. The chemistry is really developing with the players understanding their roles, and smooth play evolves from that.

30Duck Wins the Conference Championship Prediction Contest!
Probably not. But Burrow has been hurried more, sacked more, than any QB all season. That should be a couple of stats that have a team under .500%, but here they are in the Super Bowl.

As expected, and I would guess, just what the Bengals, who've been underdogs through the playoffs, wanted.

Charles was so Correct: when it comes to Playoff Football, the NFL 'GETS IT."
I think the Chargers are on solid ground with Staley. He may have been driven a bit by analytics in going for 2, but he was a huge improvement over his predecessor.

Mahomes and Reid both took the blame, which is certainly better than the opposite. Mahomes was struggling early in the season with INT's and fumbles. In this play, he had Kelce open for a TD, but looked it off to throw to Hill. No explanation for that, then Mahomes tries, too late, to call a timeout that the Chiefs didn't have. On the other side, Joe Cool leads the Bengals back, to another playoff win on the road, with a halftime deficit.

Pac-12 Commish Looking Forward, can ESPN see it too?
From a commissioner that didn't seem inspired to doing much of anything, GK is trying to jumpstart the Pac-12. George Kliavkoff thinks college football and ESPN can accommodate a new vision Zack Pierson Trojanswire
