  1. So far so good it seems. Georgia Southern, Clay Helton's new job is graded higher than is Riley at USC. Grading every new staff in college football Grady Marcello 247 Sports
  2. I can definitely see a Sweet 16 for this team. So far, only Gonzaga has impressed me as a team that is really better than the others. Auburn is playing well and is currently No. 1. It might be that the Ducks played Baylor, No.5 now, a week early, and would love to meet BYU again.
  3. It's more than "Move!" but basically the Ducks are just playing better now. The game against BYU the Ducks couldn't have got the ball in the ocean, against UW, they almost couldn't miss. It wasn't a big change in what the Ducks were doing' during the 6 game winning streak they're just doing it better. Along with Williams and Young playing lights out in the backcourt, Williams nailing 3's, Dante and Kepnang are dominating the paint at both ends of the court. Guerrier and Harmon, along with Soares are filling their roles in the rotation. It's great when Altman's teams get their D going. A swarm disrupting the passing lanes, blocks leading to fast breaks.
  4. My fave 5 from this list are 1. Josh Conerly OL 2. Jahlil Florence CB 3. Christian Miller DE 4. Arlis Boardingham WR 5. Jake Brousssard RB
  5. Good for Nemec, a good old past participle
  6. Colorado is coming in on a 2 game losing streak, to the LA schools, the same that the Ducks beat, to highlight their current 6 game winning streak. Both are 12-6 on the season, Colorado is 4-4 in conference, Oregon is 5-2/ My prediction: Oregon 74-65
  7. There is indeed. I don't see Oregon playing a "Neutral" game against Georgia being courageous, nor as I indicated previously, do I see the game as being foolish. No team has gone undefeated, but no USC on the schedule, might not even see them in the championship game; the team that could be there plays at Autzen this season. The Ducks have no business being in the CFP if they can't get through the Pac-12 gauntlet.
  8. Exactly right, and why I'm glad the Ducks are playing this game; the Lanning connection is gravy. Beat the defending champ in the 1st game of the season? I'm more confident of the Ducks in this one than I was against Ohio State last season, A loss? Run the table the rest of the way and Oregon is in the CFP.
  9. Arlis Boardingham is 6'5 220 LBS WR, from Van Nuys, CA. It would be great to keep him in the west, especially at Oregon,
  10. I check them often, this year in particular games are played at different days all week that will affect seeding. Palm is here and Joe Lunardi is here
  11. Matt Prehm noted that the Ducks didn't get enough votes to make the top 25, but CBS's Jerry Palm has the Ducks back in the bracket, as a No.10 in the East Region. This is a lot more promising than starting in the First Four before the actual tournament even starts.
  12. Regular season I'd be okay with games just ending in a tie, there was a tie this season. In the Playoffs, like basketball, I'd just have another quarter. If somehow a winner isn't decided, do it again.
