  1. I'm fine with a couple of Legendary Trojans Coaches being Ducks, no need to be greedy, and Kenjon is in the records for most yards against USC.
  2. The Tweet says the game starts at 7:00, but my comcast listings has a Gymnastics Meet on from 6:00 to 8:00. So, I say tune it a little before 7 and hope the floor exercise competition is wrapping up.
  3. It just seems like Husky Honks would have other things to do besides spend time moaning and wailing about the success Oregon has, and is, enjoying. Owing all the credit for that success to Phil and Penny Knight doesn't exhibit a lot of cognitive ability. Beaver Nation is trying their best to become winners. They don't spend every waking moment crying about Oregon's success. Oregon has the best facilities in the country, the finest Track Stadium in the world. Meanwhile, Oregon State is adding seats to Reser. It is what it is.
  4. Travis Dye, Once a Duck
  5. Great bunch of players, I'd have added Brady Breeze, the Ducks "1 hit wonder" and he could really hit!
  6. The Lady Ducks look to keep their winning streak going against the Huskies.
  7. Watching a game in The Pit is something I'll never forget, just going in the front doors is unforgettable, it always smelled of popcorn! Taking charges was not done back then, certainly not in the Pac-8. It went against everything that Wooden believed basketball should be. Bill Walton and Marques Johnson bot say later that they both loved and hated playing in The Pit. The intensity was fabulous to play in, but Wooden wanted fans to behave like they were at Wimbledon. UCLA was a big rival, but the hatred between the Beavers and Ducks basketball teams has never been matched from what it was back then.
  8. Annie, thanks so much for finding and posting that link. If I could I'd start a Forum to discuss nothing but Dick Harter and the Kamikaze Kids! It truly was a magical time.
  9. The most interesting on this list to me is the Harbaugh to the Raiders. He gets to Michigan, his "Dream Job" does well, not great, can't beat Ohio State, Last season he beats the Buckeyes, gets to the CFP, and now he might coach the Raiders? The AFC West is tough, K,C the Raiders, Chargers, and a chance that Aaron Rodgers could be a Bronco next season. Just saw an Alabama OL, Tommy Brown transferred to Colorado, and RB, Austin Jones from Stanford to USC.
  10. Does this send Williams to Georgia; will the Ducks see him 2 games in a row now?
  11. Well, this weekend: Cincinnati at Tennessee -3.5 San Francisco at Green Bay -6 LA Rams at Tampa Bay -3 Buffalo at Kansas City -1.5
  12. Basketball recruiting has been exceptional for the last 5 years or so.
  13. No changes, so if anything, Oregon was even worse the second time.
  14. Add this Bulldog to the list:
  15. Georgia Star Nakobe Dean among 5 Bulldogs Underclassmen to Declare for NFL Draft
  16. The more I think about it, and what was said on the show last night, and what has been posted here, I think Dye's best move is to try for the NFL. Last season is the best I think he'd be able to show the NFL. He wouldn't be the featured back here next season, primarily because of a new offense, and I doubt he'd match his production last season at a new school. So good luck, Travis whatever you decide.
  17. Great interview, Katz talked about how Altman's teams are always better late in the season that everybody knows, but he really did watch the LA games, and asks questions about them.
  18. Last night on "Talkin Ducks, Dye was brought up and Aaron Fentress suggested that Dye might find a spot at USC, and then one of the others, can't say who, thought that maybe Oregon State is a possibility. How would that work out? Could we wish the best for him, but not the team? Oregon and USC aren't on the schedule, but the last game of the season, at Reser?
  19. No, it's not Bob Dylan Oregon Men adjust to constant shifts in schedule as they now prep for Washington
  20. What I hope this shows is that, as expected, tempers have cooled down. But if these teams can get to, "They really don't like each other" that would be great. As we have lamented, the Pac-12 doesn't have the passion found in other conferences these days. I remember back in the 70's, Kamikaze Kids time, The Pit did shake, Bill Walton, Marques Johnson said they loved and hated playing there, Wooden hated it. Overall, today, for crazy we have Cameron Indoor at Duke. In the final 5 minutes of a nail biter, it's as wild as The Pit was 5 hours before a game started. In Arizona, the crowd won't sit down until the opponent scores. Wow, that's intimidating. So, no, we don't want Bobby Knight, But a win over a hostile crowd on the road is as good as it gets.
