  1. Tennessee fires entire coaching staff
  2. She wasn't one of the Big 3, but we can't forget Lexi Bando!
  3. Those were the first two I thought of, what a great combination!
  4. It would make the whole process much more simple, I think, if Brown stays as it would show that he is clearly 1st on the depth chart. Thompson is the future, the idea of him throwing to the receivers the Ducks have assembled, is as good as it gets. I also agree about Shough. Somebody had to be the quarterback that season, and credit to him for showing up. But I don't see a future for him at Oregon and think a transfer would serve him well. Millen's talents seem like they could be best used at another position, and the others, a work in progress.
  5. I agree with your sentiment about giving whomever is hired a chance. On Altman, I would offer that he was underwhelming in the eyes of fans because he wasn't a big name. But he had a great record at Creighton, and is now a big name himself.
  6. That's a very good point. Justin and the offense succeeded in spite of the former coach. While his offensive ineptness played a part in the Chargers blowing leads game after game, it was the defense where the blame resided. The Chargers don't have Aaron Donald or Jalen Ramsey, but now they have the man that coached them. That's a good start.
  7. Absolutely, and the offense didn't commit a penalty, there was a fumble. Far too much importance is given to the ball going through the end zone. So what. Treat it like any other fumble, if it didn't happen on a 4th down, the offense gets the ball back at the point of the fumble, if it was 4th down, then the defense gets it, and they start from there.
  8. Looking back, the Pac-12, and Oregon in particular, would have done better, perception wise, had they stuck with the decision not to play. When the decision to play was made, it was largely seen as as a too little, too late attempt to copy the B1G, with only 7 games. The Pac-12 had trouble getting in to the Playoffs in a regular season, everybody knew they didn't have any chance at all in this one. But the Pac-12, in the dark as never before, went on, with games being canceled, making the season even shorter. When it finally ended up, Oregon was left standing on top of the North. It was fun to see the Ducks play their best game of the season against the Trojans and win the conference championship for the second year in a row. Unfortunately now, it put the Ducks in the Fiesta Bowl, against an Iowa State team, excited to be in its first NY6 Game. We all knew what happened in that one. So, since they played, we and the Ducks might as well make the best of it. Wilner and Washington can laugh all they want, Oregon won the championship, the players got some experience, and the Ducks can go for the 3-peat in 2021!
  9. There is definitely a need for the Chargers to improve their defense.
  10. Since 2000, Washington has a winning % of .533, 137-120, Oregon's is .725, 192-73. It would take a very long time to get to where Washington's winning % is higher.
  11. We will have to go back several years to find a span long enough for Washington's win % to be higher than is Oregon's.
  12. Kemba Walker returned to the Celtics starting line-up after missing the first 11 games with a knee injury, the Celtics lost to the New York Knicks, 105-75, and Walker left the game in the third quarter with a rib injury.
  13. For more than just what this does to the standings, Kelly Graves has to be very happy for Colorado's coach, JR Payne. Payne played for Graves at Gonzaga, and later was an assistant coach with Graves at St. Mary's.
  14. It's sad, but I can't remember any other play that Colvin made for the Ducks but this one.
  15. Browns end up losing, 22-17, really could have used that touchdown.
  16. The Oregon Ducks are in the top five for one of the top west coast players left on the board in the 2021 cycle.
