247 Sports Prediction for Every B1G Game in 2025
30Duck replied to Jon Joseph's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Well, I don't think OBD will lose at Penn State, I agree that osu2 will beat Penn State and, I think osu2 will beat Michigan. This would put osu2 and OBD in the B1G CG, where yes, always want to win, but... -

2025 Football Recruiting: How the Future B1G Will Look
30Duck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
A few thoughts: It will be hard to catch, much less surpass osu2, because OBD is still behind, catching up, but osu2 is not going to pause. Washington won't fall off the cliff, but as the fans cry and moan about how Oregon is USING NIL and the portal to BUY a championship, if they don't get into the swing of things, their split championship in '91 will be it. I'm pleased to see, "I win, Google Me" Cignetti and his "Emerging superpower, Indiana" sitting around the middle. -
They did receive $$$ for winning the Players Era Festival in November, Quad1 wins over Texas A & M, San Diego State & Alabama.

For sure. Typically, being the captain of a Carrier is a step from Admiral. This will be hard to ignore.

Exactly, "It came out of nowhere, I didn't see it" doesn't work here.

I think it's wrong that Las Vegas has a more recent Stanley Cup than the Montreal Canadiens do. Prime did very well in baseball & football, so did Bo. MJ, the GOAT in basketball, not so great in baseball, never got to the Majors. But, I doubt any of the 3 could have done anything on the ice. I went to an LA Kings game in 1988 against Edmonton with Gretzky, Edmonton won, went on to back to back championships, 4th in 5 years, the next year he was an LA King. This would have been great with social media.

Between 1960 and 1974, the Portland Buckaroos were the most successful hockey team in professional hockey. Their success was due to several factors. The team owned the players' contracts, maintained continuity in its players and coaches, and had strong fan support. They were promoted by Harry Glickman & their play by play guy was the Schonz, both would later leave for Rip City! I will never forget "Do you believe in Miracles?" and I watch the Stanley Cup Final. I really don't wany Ovechkin to break Gretzky's scoring record.

Oregon Hangs On, Beats Northwestern 81-75, Stops Losing Streak at 5
30Duck replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Unfortunately, they aren't inconsistent, they've played the same all season. They got wins when teams are figuring stuff out, they were proud of coming from behind. When it caught up with them in the UCLA game, they said they had to do something. they didn't. Soft is what they are. On offense they prefer the easiest shot possible, a 3. they don't rebound or play physical defense in the paint. Making switches, communicating takes effort. Putting a team away requires taking it up a notch. Isn't going to happen. The Players only meeting didn't seem to have done anything. Altman can't coach around the problem. -
The Era of Superstar Coordinators is Upon Us

Absolutely right Darren, as the saying goes, Chip loves what he's doing, he ain't even working and getting paid millions. OC & DC will now be the coveted jobs. The young guys, Johnson, former OC at Detroit, now HC at Chicago, Kellen Moore, OC at Philly, now HC at New Orleans, are young, they'll learn...somehow Staley, who was an epic fail as HC for the Chargers, is in line to be OC at New Orleans. -

Yep, boring game really, looks like the NBA, neither team is playing defense, just going back & forth taking open shots.
