  1. If we lose to Cal, the season is essentially over. Ducks need to bring it. Hopefully they found something inspirational during the bye week.
  2. My glass is also half full, just not sure if it is half full of water or air.... hmmmm....
  3. The SEC is getting stronger. I'm hoping that the addition of Texas and Oklahoma will infect the rest of the SEC with bad defenses!
  4. Thanks Jon. This team has us all dazed and confused.
  5. Good points.... the way I look at it is that Brown has had his chance and it is pretty clear that the Ducks are not getting better under him and that they'll stay mediocre. So may as well play the young guns. At best they lead the Ducks to an 11-1 season, at worst they lose games as they Ducks will with Brown, but they get experience for the future.
  6. Now us men all know how our significant other feels! : )
  7. Yeah, it's hard to believe that the other qb's could be worse. With inexperienced qb's you do have to worry about turnovers, but that's a risk they need to take.
  8. Yup, and we're all feeling the pain....
  9. Good points that are relevant and contributing to our collective frustrations.
  10. Agree. And I for one was actually thinking they should have gone for 3 at the end of the first half. People tend to underestimate the impact that first half field goals can have later in the game. It's ok to go conservative in a close game with tons of time left. Ducks go for 3 there, they win.
  11. Scheme can also contribute to poor play by all the positions. I the defense knows what is coming and the coaches are not putting the players in the best position to succeed, the coaches lessen the chance of the players playing well.
  12. Yeah, i was holding out for Brown until now, changed is needed.
  13. Yeah, reminds me of being wr in middle school, we nevere threw the ball so it was a pretty boring position to play, are talented receivers are probably beyond frustrated.
  14. Yeah, the time is now, or just more of the same....
  15. Just seems like plain ole stubborness. If Mario was cut from the dictatorship cloth I could believe that maybe all those around him would be afraid to say something, but I don't think that's the case....
  16. Yes, it's got to be demoralizing playing in this offense. The lineman feel defeated, the WR's get very few opportunites.... why come to Oregon????
  17. Agree, but that would seem to make too much sense for Mario. He's gotta play "tough" not "smart."
  18. Need to do something as the status quo will get us to 8-4.
  19. That's what I've said the last couple years, when the offense is lackluster and casually taking their time between plays, very lethargic.... light a fire by going with some temp to get things going... but nope.
  20. Yeah, gotta get ahead of the problem and act before the negative act occurs... such as a loss to Stanford. I think the likes of Saban would have made the QB change earlier, would have seen the inevitable and did would he could to stop it. I mean, we all saw this coming, if not Stanford then in in the very near future.
  21. I was in Boise this past weekend watching Boise St versus Nevada, and could help but think, "why can't the Ducks throw the ball like these guys?" It's time for a change.
  22. I like it. MC just needs to let Moorhead cook and then get out if the kitchen.
  23. Hopefully they will continue to improve.
